When I first became a believer I had a difficult time living for the Lord because there was so much I did not understand. I did not realize that I was a three part being and that when I gave my life to Jesus only one part of me experience immediate change, my spirit. According to our Lord Jesus that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:1-6) However nothing happened with my mind nor my flesh. And I learned that I was responsible to get my mind renewed with the Word and bring my body under subjection with the help of the Holy Spirit. There are only seven principles listed here. As you are growing in the image of God, you will adopt more of his principles such as giving, honesty, and serving. You are already fully equipped with what you need to be victorious and successful as a Christ like individual. Develop your gifts. Seek his guidance daily, submit each day to him and all that you aspire to do. He will lead you by his spirit in the path that you should take. Include him. Remember, anything that he’s not in dies.
