Life in the Computational Matrix is a groundbreaking exploration of the Computational Matrix theory, which posits that our universe is a giant computer simulation. In this book, Pasquale De Marco takes readers on a journey through the Computational Matrix, exploring the nature of reality, the mind, the universe, and even ourselves. Along the way, we will see how the Computational Matrix can help us to understand some of the most fundamental questions about life and the universe. The Computational Matrix is a new way of thinking about the world, and it has the potential to change everything. It can help us to understand the nature of reality, the mind, the universe, and even ourselves. It can also help us to create a better future for ourselves and for our planet. But what exactly is the Computational Matrix? And how can we be sure that it is real? The Computational Matrix is a theory that is based on the latest scientific research in physics, computer science, and philosophy. It is a theory that is supported by a growing body of evidence, and it is a theory that is changing the way we think about the world. In Life in the Computational Matrix, Pasquale De Marco provides a clear and concise explanation of the Computational Matrix theory. He also explores the implications of this theory for our understanding of reality, the mind, the universe, and ourselves. The Computational Structure Of Life Cycle Assessment written by R. Heijungs and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2002-05-31 with Business & Economics categories.
Life Cycle assessment (LCA) is a tool for environmental decision-support in relation to products from the cradle to the grave. Until now, more emphasis has been put on the inclusion quantitative models and databases and on the design of guidebooks for applying LCA than on the integrative aspect of combining these models and data. This is a remarkable thing, since LCA in practice deals with thousands of quantitative data items that have to be combined in the correct manner. For this, one needs mathematical rules and algorithmic principles for carrying out an LCA. This book presents the first coherent treatment of the mathematical and algorithmic aspects of LCA. These computational aspects are presented in matrix form, so that a concise and elegant formulation is achieved. This form, moreover, provides a platform for further extension of analysis using perturbation theory, structural theory and economic input-output analysis.

Computational Matrix Analysis written by Alan J. Laub and has been published by SIAM this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-01-01 with Mathematics categories.
Using an approach that author Alan Laub calls "matrix analysis for grown-ups," this new textbook introduces fundamental concepts of numerical linear algebra and their application to solving certain numerical problems arising in state-space control and systems theory. It is written for advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate students and can be used as a follow-up to Matrix Analysis for Scientists and Engineers (SIAM, 2005), a compact single-semester introduction to matrix analysis for engineers and computational scientists by the same author. Computational Matrix Analysis provides readers with a one-semester introduction to numerical linear algebra; an introduction to statistical condition estimation in book form for the first time; and an overview of certain computational problems in control and systems theory. The book features a number of elements designed to help students learn to use numerical linear algebra in day-to-day computing or research, including a brief review of matrix analysis, including notation, and an introduction to finite (IEEE) arithmetic; discussion and examples of conditioning, stability, and rounding analysis; an introduction to mathematical software topics related to numerical linear algebra; a thorough introduction to Gaussian elimination, along with condition estimation techniques; coverage of linear least squares, with orthogonal reduction and QR factorization; variants of the QR algorithm; and applications of the discussed algorithms.

A feminist media history of quantification, uncovering the stories behind the tools and technologies we use to count, measure, and weigh our lives and realities. Anglo-American culture has used media to measure and quantify lives for centuries. Historical journal entries map the details of everyday life, while death registers put numbers to life's endings. Today we count our daily steps with fitness trackers and quantify births and deaths with digitized data. How are these present-day methods for measuring ourselves similar to those used in the past? In this book, Jacqueline Wernimont presents a new media history of western quantification, uncovering the stories behind the tools and technologies we use to count, measure, and weigh our lives and realities. Numbered Lives is the first book of its kind, a feminist media history that maps connections not only between past and present-day “quantum media” but between media tracking and long-standing systemic inequalities. Wernimont explores the history of the pedometer, mortality statistics, and the census in England and the United States to illuminate the entanglement of Anglo-American quantification with religious, imperial, and patriarchal paradigms. In Anglo-American culture, Wernimont argues, counting life and counting death are sides of the same coin—one that has always been used to render statistics of life and death more valuable to corporate and state organizations. Numbered Lives enumerates our shared media history, helping us understand our digital culture and inheritance.

Complex Copyright written by Deborah Tussey and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016-05-23 with Law categories.
This book draws on a wide selection of interdisciplinary literature discussing complex adaptive systems - including scholarship from economics, political science, evolutionary biology, cognitive science, and religion - to apply general complexity tenets to the institutions, conceptual framework, and theoretical justifications of the copyright system, both in the United States and internationally. The author argues that copyrighted works are the products of complex creative systems and, consequently, designers of copyright regimes for the global 'information ecosystem' should look to complexity theory for guidance. Urging legal scholars to undertake empirical studies of real-world copyright systems, Tussey reveals how the selection of workable configurations for the copyright regime is larger than that encompassed by the traditional, entirely theoretical, debate between private property rights and the commons. Finally, this unique study articulates how copyright law must tolerate certain chaotic elements that may be essential to the sustainability of complex systems.
