The idea of optimization runs through most parts of control theory. The simplest optimal controls are preplanned (programmed) ones. The problem of constructing optimal preplanned controls has been extensively worked out in literature (see, e. g. , the Pontrjagin maximum principle giving necessary conditions of preplanned control optimality). However, the concept of op timality itself has a restrictive character: it is limited by what one means under optimality in each separate case. The internal contradictoriness of the preplanned control optimality ("the better is the enemy of the good") yields that the practical significance of optimal preplanned controls proves to be not great: such controls are usually sensitive to unregistered disturbances (includ ing the round-off errors which are inevitable when computer devices are used for forming controls), as there is the effect of disturbance accumulation in the control process which makes controls to be of little use on large time inter vals. This gap is mainly provoked by oversimplified settings of optimization problems. The outstanding result of control theory established in the end of the first half of our century is that controls in feedback form ensure the weak sensitivity of closed loop systems with respect to "small" unregistered internal and external disturbances acting in them (here we do not need to discuss performance indexes, since the considered phenomenon is of general nature). But by far not all optimal preplanned controls can be represented in a feedback form.

RF CIRCUITS FOR 5G APPLICATIONS This book addresses FinFET-based analog IC designing for fifth generation (5G) communication networks and highlights the latest advances, problems, and challenges while presenting the latest research results in the field of mmwave integrated circuits designing. The wireless communication sector is experiencing exponential expansion, particularly in the areas of mobile data and the 5G mobile network, creating fresh market possibilities for designing the integrated circuits (ICs) needed in the industry. Drawing from scientific literature and practical realization, this book explores FinFET-based analog IC designing for 5G communication networks and considers the latest breakthroughs and obstacles. It also presents the recent research trends and future roadmaps for the 5G communication circuits. RF Circuits for 5G Applications includes design guidelines to be considered when designing these circuits and detrimental scaling effects of the same. In addition, to enhance the usability of this book, the editors have included real-time problems in RFIC designing and case studies from experimental results, as well as clearly demarcated design guidelines for the 5G communication ICs designing. Audience The primary target audience includes researchers, postgraduate students, and industry professionals pursuing specializations in RF engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, information, and communication technology.

Nonlinear Systems Of Partial Differential Equations In Applied Mathematics written by Basil Nicolaenko and has been published by American Mathematical Soc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1986-12-31 with Mathematics categories.
These two volumes of 47 papers focus on the increased interplay of theoretical advances in nonlinear hyperbolic systems, completely integrable systems, and evolutionary systems of nonlinear partial differential equations. The papers both survey recent results and indicate future research trends in these vital and rapidly developing branches of PDEs. The editor has grouped the papers loosely into the following five sections: integrable systems, hyperbolic systems, variational problems, evolutionary systems, and dispersive systems. However, the variety of the subjects discussed as well as their many interwoven trends demonstrate that it is through interactive advances that such rapid progress has occurred. These papers require a good background in partial differential equations. Many of the contributors are mathematical physicists, and the papers are addressed to mathematical physicists (particularly in perturbed integrable systems), as well as to PDE specialists and applied mathematicians in general.

Salivary Glands And Their Secretions written by Leo M. Sreebny and has been published by Elsevier this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-10-22 with Nature categories.
Salivary Glands and their Secretions covers the proceedings of the conference held at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. The book focuses on the structure and functions of secreting organs and the composition, mechanism, and control of secretions. The selection first reviews the comparative aspects of the structure and functions of the salivary glands; electron microscopy of induced changes in the salivary glands of rats; and the action of thyroid and adrenal glands on the submaxillary glands of mice. The book then takes a look at hormonal influences on the cytology and physiology of salivary glands and hormones and inanition. The book ponders on studies on the physiology of rat and mouse submaxillary glands and hormonal control of the nerve growth factor content in the submaxillary glands of mice. The text also examines central nervous representation of salivary secretion, secretory nerves of the salivary glands, and changes in salivary flow produced by variations in fluid and electrolyte balance. The selection is a valuable source of data for readers interested in the structure and functions of the salivary glands.
