Little Boy Wild was a small boy who did not have permission to be alive, and this is his epic real-life journey as an abused child in search for himself. It is fearless, hauntingly beautiful, and sometimes disturbing. Whenever he can, he lives wild with the animals - his only true friends, while he seeks to avoid the Humans who may cause him to opt out and hide far within himself. It is rare for a work of this magnitude to appear on the literary scene, but in spite of all the hurt involved, Little Boy Wild moves forward in his quest for self-identity and love with hurtful self-searching honesty. Wild Boy's personas are deeply split and fragmented. His adventures may well come across like the reading of a psychiatrist's highly confidential doctor-patient journal of record - all wrapped up in hilarious humour and rollicking fun! His psyche switches between two major personalities, plus the Preacher and the Move Director. Frequently he sees Little Boy Wild outside of himself. He is also psycho-sexually warped and is unsure as to whether he is gay or not. Eventually he blows his mind apart with LSD, but in the final analysis - out of all the hell of psychosis, something very beautiful occurs. Little Boy Wild and I struggled Phoenix-like throughout our tragic childhood and turbulent teens, to an adult life under the guise of normalcy. We later discovered that we were gifted the pain of emotional and physical torture, in order to become an entity of extraordinary resilience and strength. This now enables us to see with eyes that know the unknowable, and to understand that which others can only approach as a frontier to be explored. The Wild Boys written by William S. Burroughs and has been published by Penguin UK this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-08-02 with Fiction categories.

In this funny, nightmarish masterpiece of imaginative excess, grotesque characters engage in acts of violent one-upmanship, boundless riches mangle a corner of Africa into a Bacchanalian utopia, and technology, flesh and violence fuse with and undo each other. A fragmentary, freewheeling novel, it sees wild boys engage in vigorous, ritualistic sex and drug taking, as well as pranksterish guerrilla warfare and open combat with a confused and outmatched army. The Wild Boys shows why Burroughs is a writer unlike any other, able to make captivating the explicit and horrific.

What happens when society finds a wild boy alone in the woods and tries to civilize him? A true story from the author of The Fairy Ring. One day in 1798, woodsmen in southern France returned from the forest having captured a naked boy. He had been running wild, digging for food, and was covered with scars. In the village square, people gathered around, gaping and jabbering in words the boy didn’t understand. And so began the curious public life of the boy known as the Savage of Aveyron, whose journey took him all the way to Paris. Though the wild boy’s world was forever changed, some things stayed the same: sometimes, when the mountain winds blew, “he looked up at the sky, made sounds deep in his throat, and gave great bursts of laughter.” In a moving work of narrative nonfiction that reads like a novel, Mary Losure invests another compelling story from history with vivid and arresting new life. Back matter includes an author’s note, source notes, and a bibliography.

A small boy was only eighteen months old when he became lost after being taken to the African jungle by his parents. They were members of the British Wildlife Preservation Society and thought him too young to be left at home at such a juvenile age. Being an adventurous little boy even then, he always wandered off by himself if given the opportunity to do so. That habit was to remain with him throughout his lifetime, and it was because of his adventurous manner that he fell into a crocodile-infested river, all but losing his life. The little boy was to have a young life like no other human infant ever could have and would use his human brain to his advantage without even realizing it. Being lost in a hot hostile jungle at such a young age, it was thought very doubtful if he could ever survive, but the question is . . . did he?
