No doubt, it is common to hear Christians today declaring their allegiance to God's kingdom. But what does this actually entail, and what difference does it make? In his characteristically provocative and daring way, Christoph Blumhardt articulates a vision of God's kingdom that turns much of our understanding of modern Christianity upside-down. In the present volume, available in English for the first time, Blumhardt leads readers to look at the gospel anew, challenging us to follow Jesus in a way that makes God's reign a reality, here and now. Bypassing vague notions of spirituality, as well as transcending simplistic approaches to faith, Blumhardt inspires us to actually live under the rule and reign of God.

Believers today, as they enter the millennium, hunger for the deeper understandings about the Kingdom that this book offers. The Scriptures declare the Kingdom of God is a present reality in which we can partake. Are you "living by the rules," or are you letting God's grace rule you? There's a big difference between the two. If you're living for God--living by the rules--you'll always be exhausted. You'll feel that you're not doing enough for God and that if you don't "measure up," He will be displeased with you. But God never meant for the Christian life to be that way! His Love for us isn't based on how we perform for Him. He sent Christ to set us free from rules. He didn't call us to serve Him in our own feeble power, but to let His power flow through us--a power that is without limit! What's more, this power is already available to us right now. God has provided everything we need for a truly meaningful, joy-filled life here on earth...all because of His marvelous grace. Rest in God's grace, and let Him live through you. Find out how in Grace Rules.

Kingdom Of God Not A Place Called Heaven written by Apostle Stanley Onyenali and has been published by Strategic Book Publishing this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-05 with categories.

This book of faith makes us to realize that the kingdom of God lives in us, rather on us as a location "up there." The kingdom of God is a spiritual location and not a geographical one. It is indeed a Kingdom of God, Not a Place Called Heaven. "Ye as lively stones have been built up into a spiritual house" (1 Peter 2:5) shows that man is a "spirit" even though he has a covering called the "body." In other words, the kingdom of God is a "life" and not a location, even though this "life" also exists in a location. Jesus referred in the scripture about the kingdom of God in "us" rather "on" us and said, "Neither shall they say, lo here: or lo there: behold, the kingdom of God is "within you" (Luke17:21). Those actually entering into the kingdom of God are not those just entering the heavens, they are not those entering into the earth, neither are those entering into the waters. But those who are actually entering into the kingdom of God are those entering into "Christ," and while in Christ, no doubt they could exist in any location whether heaven or earth, since the kingdom of God is a "life." Apostle Stanley Onyenali is a minister of the gospel of Christ in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He writes because "it is an inspiration from the holy spirit teaching me to demystify to the world what the kingdom of God is." He is working on his next book. In Matthew 13, Jesus tells the parable of a man who stumbles across a treasure hidden in a field. He goes home, sells everything he has, and buys that field to own that treasure. This is what the kingdom of heaven is, Jesus says--a treasure worth everything. But the truth is, for most of us, our enthusiasm is often wrapped more deeply around a football team or the latest TV show than what God is doing through us. Lacking a purpose calling to the deepest parts of us, we numb ourselves. In this eye-opening, empowering book, pastor and author Putty Putman shows that there is a kingdom designed to provide your life with such compelling purpose that you will reorient your whole life around it. Here is your invitation into a life of significance, adventure, and wonder far beyond what you have let yourself dare to dream.

The Kingdom Of God written by Nicholas Perrin and has been published by Zondervan Academic this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2019-02-26 with Religion categories.

In the last hundred and fifty years the kingdom of God has emerged as one of the most important topics in theology, New Testament studies, and the life of the church. But what exactly is the kingdom of God? What does it mean for the people of God and what does it mean for how they live in the world? In The Kingdom of God, part of the Biblical Theology for Life series, Nicholas Perrin explores this dominant biblical metaphor, one that is paradoxically the meta-center and the mystery in Jesus' proclamation. After survey interpretations by figures from Ritschl to N. T. Wright, Perrin examines the "what, who, and how" questions of the kingdom. In his sweepingly comprehensive study, Perrin contends that the kingdom is inaugurated in Jesus' earthly ministry, but its final development awaits later events in history. In between the times, however, the people of God are called to participate in the reign of God by living out the distinctly kingdom-ethic through hope, forgiveness, love, and prayer. X

God did not create us for us; God created us for Himself. From the time we accept Christ as Lord and Savior until we physically die; what do we do? We keep the Charge of the Lord; that is what we do. This charge is also The Law of the Kingdom. The Law of The Kingdom is Love. We are to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and with all of our strength and we are to love our neighbor as we love our self. Love is patient and love is kind. God is Love. If it aint love it is just noise. God, in his Word, instructs us to use Love as our battering ram against the gates of hell; He has declared that they shall not prevail against us. The Bible is our only instruction manual on how to live this life inside the Kingdom of God while still on earth. Gods people are perishing due to lack of knowledge not weakness. It is our obligation and duty to the King, to learn what we are to do and to do it with all of our might. This book is designed to help us to live that Charge of The Lord, by committing our hearts (minds) to live in obedience to The Law of The Kingdom, Love.
