Laura es una joven que vivi su infancia en el campo y tras mudarse a la ciudad comienza una relacin con Roberto, quien a das de la boda le efecta una drstica confesin por la cual todo su mundo entra en un vendaval de cuestionamientos e incertidumbres. Previo al cumpleaos de su padre, hombre de pocas palabras y muchos principios, una gitana irrumpe en la puerta de su casa, dicindole que ese da conocera al hombre de su vida. Impactada por la noticia, luego de la fiesta a su padre, Laura siente una especial atraccin por Ed, un conocido de su amigo Daniel, trado a una cita doble con su hermana Aurora. La protagonista reprime esa atraccin, concentrndose solamente en su trabajo de oficina y carrera de psicologa. Sin embargo, un viaje a la playa y un encuentro inesperado en el casino colocan a Ed y a Laura en una burbuja propia y secreta, dentro de la cual un hecho particular los unir para siempre, aunque no lo deseen. El corazn de la mujer parece a punto de despertar, Ed, de a poco, atrae sus sentimientos al comunicar sus inseguridades y confusiones, pero un trgico accidente vial lo deja en coma y al cuidado de Laura, quien no renunciar hasta no saber cuntos peldaos tiene esa historia por la cual su corazn ha regresado. Esta es una obra de ficcin. Los nombres, personajes, lugares e incidentes son productos de la imaginacin de la autora o pura coincidencia.

Este poemario recoge la mayor parte de las poesías que he compuesto a lo largo de mi vida. De alguna manera son un diario incompleto de las sensaciones y vivencias por las que he transitado. Las consideré siempre mi pintura personal, compartida solamente con familiares y amigos. Más de uno, en alguna ocasión me ha propuesto publicarlas, compartirlas de una manera más amplia, y es lo que hago ahora, impulsado fundamentalmente por mi esposa. Las poesías las he agrupado por el tipo de sentimiento que las motivó, o los momentos personales, y estados de ánimo, que las provocaron. En cada grupo aparecen en el orden temporal en que fueron escritas. Momentos de "Imposibles" hay siempre en la vida de cualquiera: deseos que son irrealizables por una u otra circunstancia, y de muy variados tipos. Los Momentos de "Ensueños" reflejan las ilusiones de mi etapa adolescente. "Ansiedades" están ligadas a algún tipo de angustia, llevaderas unas, asfixiantes otras. "Añoranzas" se producen al recordar momentos que dieron felicidad. Momentos de "Familia" se corresponden con recuerdos familiares. "Reflexiones" resultan de los momentos en que hacemos un poco de filosofía personal. "Variedades" son poesías circunstanciales que no encajan en los grupos anteriores. "Dicha", al ver la que tengo en mi recta final y en lo que está por venir.
