En este libro se analizan las implicaciones de las teorias del aprendizaje en los modelos pedagogicos contemporaneos. Se analizan diversas clasificaciones de modelos propuestas por E. Planchard, Rafael Flores Ochoa, Julian de Zubiria Samper, Miguel de Zubiria Samper, asi como otras tipologias de modelos pedagogicos, tales como la ensenanza problemica (Mirza I. Majmutov) y la pedagogia conceptual (Fundacion Alberto Merani). Se resignifica el papel de las ciencias de la educacion en la configuracion de los modelos pedagogicos y se hace una conceptualizacion teorico y metodologica de los modelos pedagogicos, que incluye algunas definiciones relacionadas con los modelos, la definicion del concepto Modelo Pedagogico, los rasgos generales de los Modelos Pedagogicos, asi como los postulados teoricos y metodologicos para la elaboracion de los modelos pedagogicos. Se aporta una nueva clasificacion de los modelos pedagogicos, que esta integrada por la pedagogia tradicional, la escuela nueva, la tecnologia educativa, la escuela del desarrollo integral y la Teo pedagogia (Teoria del Aprendizaje Divino, Alexander Ortiz; 2008)."
