A poet once wrote, "To love is to live, and to live is to love." That may be true, but what does it mean? The poet never defined his terms. What is this thing called "love"? Probably no other dimension of human experience has been pondered, discussed, debated, analyzed, and dreamed about more than the nature of true love. Love is everywhere-in our songs and in our books, on our televisions and on our movie screens. Talk of love is always on the tips of our tongues, never far from our thoughts or our conversation. Yet, for all our thinking and talking, for all our discussing and debating, how many of us truly understand love? Do we really know what true love is? Francois, Duc de La Rochefoucauld, a 17th-century French author and moralist, made an astute observation when he wrote, "True love is like ghosts, which everybody talks about and few have seen." Where can we turn for genuine knowledge in matters of true love? The world offers many different concepts of love, but are they reliable? Western popular culture tends to equate love with warm feelings, physical attraction, and sexual activity. This view of love is hammered into our brains every day through the books and magazines we read, the songs we listen to, and the movies and television shows we watch. The epidemic of broken relationships, failed marriages, and sundered families that characterize so much of our modern society should tell us that something is terribly wrong with the way we look at love. The best way to learn anything is to consult an expert. If we wish to improve our golf game, we go to a golf pro; if we desire to play the piano, we study under a qualified teacher. Who is the expert on love? No one understands love better than God. Not only did God created love and established it as a central foundation stone of human experience, but according to the Bible, God Himself is love (see 1 Jn. 4:8,16). Love defines God's very nature. What then does God say about love? Contrary to the common assumption of the world in general, love as presented in the Bible is not primarily an emotion, but an attitude of the heart. Emotions are not subject to command; no one can be ordered how to feel about a certain person or thing. Yet, throughout the Bible the Lord commands His people to love. Biblical love is a command. In this book, you will learn what true love is.

"Jon knows, better than most, what it means to battle anxiety and how to forge a path to victory. He also treats it with care, and pushes the conversation to places that it hasn't often gone in the church." —Kirk Cameron In the aftermath of the pandemic, even those who have never struggled with mental health have found themselves reeling, looking for answers they don't know how to find. For Christians, especially those who've despaired of help from a church that has too often stigmatized mental health challenges as a lack of faith, the way forward can be particularly difficult to see. Jonathon Seidl aims to fix that. Having fought his own way through crippling anxiety, life-altering OCD, and suicidal thoughts, he knows the value of concrete advice grounded in strong biblical truth. Instead of the trite or unsympathetic counsel that's often given, Finding Rest is practical, personal, and productive. Full of compelling stories, humor from a guide who's still on his journey, and scriptural truths, this book offers real hope and help. It also provides a lifeline for friends and family who long for ways to help relieve the suffering of their loved ones. And it lays out thoughtful, needed paths for the body of Christ to become a refuge of hope for the anxious.

Answers one of the biggest barriers to belief. Christians are increasingly seen as outdated, restrictive and judgmental when it comes to sex before marriage, cohabitation and homosexuality. In fact for many people, this issue is one of the biggest barriers for them considering Christianity. Sam Allberry, author of many books including Is God Anti-gay sets out God's good design for the expression of human sexuality, showing that God himself is love and that only he can satisfy our deepest desires. It is a great reminder of the Bible's positive blueprint for love, sex and marriage and ideal for giving away to people who may see this as a stumbling block for belief.

Love. What is love? Love is an action word. It is an active and living demonstration of something within you. How can we talk about love without the one instrumental in creating the universe, the Creator of love? How can you leave him out of love? We know life is a balance of male and female, up and down, in and out, hot and cold, good and bad, right and wrong, night and day, sun and moon. Since God created all things with balance; that would conclude that love has an aspect of balance in itself. Imagine you are looking at a pair of scales and on one side you find the word "light" and on the other side, you find the word "darkness." The light side of love represents all the days of joy, peace, happiness, and we have a dark side of love. The dark side of love has pain and suffering. This book is entitled Love Has No Feelings. Many of the stories shared in this book come from real-life experiences of characters trying to decipher love in their minds through love relationships, such as marriage, divorce, parenting, children, relatives, friends, and enemies. This book has a Hollywood Coverage that has been submitted to our first-look Hollywood partner, 5 More Minutes and to our Hollywood database.

In our world today, the term love is nearly meaningless. We love our cars or a piece our pizza. In a sexual relationship, if you love me, you will do as I ask. We love color and space. Even when we use the word with other relationships, it has become less than it's true meaning. So what is love and how should it, does it affect our lives. Love Is Not A Fuzzy Feeling is about the true meaning of different types of love, the different types of commitment, and how they can and do affect our lives. Read with an open heart and mind, and maybe we can begin to understand what love is really supposed to be in our lives today.
