Ci sono incontri inaspettati che possono dare una svolta alla nostra vita e così in un attimo ci potremmo ritrovare in situazioni che mai avremmo pensato di poter vivere. E così è successo a Mario che, dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro a Venezia, si accinge a partire in aereo per Parigi dove ha degli appuntamenti importanti. Arriva di corsa in aeroporto dove apprende con sorpresa che, per uno sciopero, il volo è annullato, ma per fortuna c’è un treno che alle otto parte dalla stazione di Santa Lucia. Sale sul treno senza passare dalla biglietteria confidando nella fortuna e nell’attesa al vagone ristorante incontra Franca che molto gentilmente lo accetta al suo tavolo. Per ingannare il tempo decidono di raccontarsi particolari della loro vita e la conversazione risulta da subito molto interessante per entrambi e lascia presagire risvolti molto piacevoli e, soprattutto, piccanti. “Non sono solita aprirmi con chicchessia, specialmente con qualcuno conosciuto da pochi minuti, ma m’ispiri simpatia perciò andrò a ruota libera. Ci siamo incontrati stasera, domani ognuno andrà per la propria strada, sarà come se avessi parlato con nessuno”… Roberto Antonio Crosara è nato a Padova nel 1938. Dopo un’infanzia difficile, la guerra prima, la ricostruzione poi, a sedici anni è costretto a interrompere gli studi esercitando diversi lavori saltuari. Riprende a studiare più avanti con le scuole serali. Dopo quattro anni di carriera militare e due di insegnamento nella scuola media, nel 1971 si laurea a Padova in materie letterarie. Successivamente crea un’attività imprenditoriale in proprio, durata circa cinquant’anni. Pensionato dedica il suo tempo alla scrittura. Nel 2019 ha pubblicato il suo primo romanzo Quasi come il Cuculo, nel 2020 Walkirie 2000 e nel 2021 Antica Fiaschetteria Toscana e Morire vivo.
