Damage Mechanics In Metal Forming written by Khemais Saanouni and has been published by John Wiley & Sons this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-02-04 with Technology & Engineering categories.

The aim of this book is to summarize the current most effective methods for modeling, simulating, and optimizing metal forming processes, and to present the main features of new, innovative methods currently being developed which will no doubt be the industrial tools of tomorrow. It discusses damage (or defect) prediction in virtual metal forming, using advanced multiphysical and multiscale fully coupled constitutive equations. Theoretical formulation, numerical aspects as well as application to various sheet and bulk metal forming are presented in detail. Virtual metal forming is nowadays inescapable when looking to optimize numerically various metal forming processes in order to design advanced mechanical components. To do this, highly predictive constitutive equations accounting for the full coupling between various physical phenomena at various scales under large deformation including the ductile damage occurrence are required. In addition, fully 3D adaptive numerical methods related to time and space discretization are required in order to solve accurately the associated initial and boundary value problems. This book focuses on these two main and complementary aspects with application to a wide range of metal forming and machining processes. Contents 1. Elements of Continuum Mechanics and Thermodynamics. 2. Thermomechanically-Consistent Modeling of the Metals Behavior with Ductile Damage. 3. Numerical Methods for Solving Metal Forming Problems. 4. Application to Virtual Metal Forming.

CE TRAVAIL CONSTITUE UNE CONTRIBUTION A LA SIMULATION DU COMPORTEMENT MECANIQUE EN GRANDES TRANSFORMATIONS, EN STATIQUE ET DYNAMIQUE AVEC UNE ETUDE D'UNE NOUVELLE FORMULATION D'ELEMENTS POUTRES. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS, NOUS PRESENTONS UNE MODELISATION INTEGRANT UNE CINEMATIQUE DITE HIGHER ORDER MODEL. CELLE-CI PERMET DE DECRIRE LE COMPORTEMENT DES MATERIAUX COMPOSITES ET MULTICOUCHES EN RESPECTANT LES CONTINUITES DES CONTRAINTES DE SCISSION DANS L'EPAISSEUR. LA VALIDATION SUR DES TESTS BIBLIOGRAPHIQUES ET EXPERIMENTAUX A PERMIS DE POSER LES LIMITES DU MODELE EN PETITES DEFORMATIONS. C'EST POURQUOI, NOUS NOUS SOMMES ORIENTES VERS UNE CINEMATIQUE DE GRANDES TRANSFORMATIONS. NOUS AVONS DEVELOPPE UNE NOUVELLE FORMULATION POUTRE PRENANT EN COMPTE CET ASPECT. LA TECHNIQUE UTILISEE EST INSPIREE DES ELEMENTS COQUES SFE. UNE VALIDATION EN FLEXION, TORSION ET ENCASTREMENT, EFFECTUEE PAR RAPPORT A DES CAS THEORIQUES EN PETITES TRANSFORMATIONS ET PAR RAPPORT A UN MODELE 3D POUR LES GRANDES TRANSFORMATIONS, A MONTRE LE BON COMPORTEMENT GLOBAL DES ELEMENTS POUTRES SEULS. DANS LE CAS DE L'UTILISATION DE CES ELEMENTS EN TANT QUE RENFORT LES RESULTATS SONT AUSSI CONCLUANTS. PAR LA SUITE, AFIN D'EXPLORER LES ASPECTS LOI DE COMPORTEMENT, NOUS AVONS ETUDIE LA VISCOELASTICITE DES MATERIAUX COMPOSITES. UNE PREMIERE ETUDE BASEE SUR LA CARACTERISATION DES PARAMETRES NECESSAIRES A PLUSIEURS MODELES NUMERIQUES A MONTRE LA COMPLEXITE DE MISE EN UVRE DE TELLES MODELES ET LA DIFFICULTE D'EXTENSION A UNE MODELISATION 3D. LES NOTIONS TEMPORELLES ETANT INTRODUITES PRECEDEMMENT, IL NOUS A SEMBLE IMPORTANT D'EXPLORER LES ASPECTS TRANSITOIRE ET DYNAMIQUE. UNE METHODE DE RESOLUTION DE CE TYPE DE PROBLEMES, LA METHODE DE NEWMARK A ETE MISE EN PLACE. LES TESTS DE VALIDATIONS SUR DES PIECES INDUSTRIELLES ONT MONTRE DES RESULTATS SATISFAISANTS

Elements For Physics written by Albert Tarantola and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-12-30 with Science categories.

Reviews and extends the theory of Lie groups, develops differential geometry, proposing compact definitions of torsion and of curvature, and adapts the usual notion of linear tangent application to the intrinsic point of view proposed for physics. Uses a unifying illustration: two simple theories are studied with some detail, the theory of heat conduction and the theory of linear elastic media. Shows that the resulting equations derived in this manner differ quantitatively and qualitatively from those usually presented.

Mastering Calculations In Linear And Nonlinear Mechanics written by Pierre Ladevèze and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-03-30 with Technology & Engineering categories.

This book deals with the management of calculations in linear and nonlinear mechanics. Particular attention is given to error estimators and indicators for structural analysis. The accent is on the concept of error in constitutive relation. An important part of the work is also devoted to the utilization of the error estimators involved in a calculation, beginning with the parameters related to the mesh. Many of the topics are taken from the most recent research by the authors: local error estimators, extention of the concept of error in constitutive relation to nonlinear evolution problems and dynamic problems, adaptive improvement of calculations in nonlinear mechanics. This work is intended for all those interested in mechanics: students, researchers and engineers concerned with the construction of models as well as their simulation for industrial purposes.
