The gospel of John makes it clear that anyone born into this world shall live forever. The first phase of T that life is lived here on earth. The book, "Beware" is borne out of his concern that only by avoiding those sins that so easily ensnare us can Christians make their election absolutely certain. A victorious lifestyle demands that we replace complacency with steadfastness in faith, covetousness with contentment, compromise with total obedience, hypocrisy and jealousy with faithfulness and love in order to conform to the image of Christ. The dictionary defines the word "Christian" as a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ. None believers called the disciples of Jesus "Christians" in Acts of Apostles because there was consistency and conformity in the truth they proclaim and affirm and the values they live by. Today, the word seems to have lost its true meaning; but God's standard has not changed. No wonder the Bible teaches, "Not all who call me Lord, Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of God." The command, "be ye perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect" is the minimum standard of lifestyle God expects from every follower of His Son. The author is concerned that no one creates LOOPHOLE for the enemy to take FOOTHOLD in his or her life. We can all benefit from his insight in identifying and discussing some of those sins that we ignore or take for granted. His treatment of each of the sins is based on sound biblical foundation and supported with diverse illustrations from scriptures and extensive real life situations. The sincerity of the author's profound concern about the necessity for every Christian to make a success of his or her life's journey dominates the entirety of the book. And every concerned and conscientious Christian will want to benefit from his wealth of experience on how to spot warning signals that may prevent us from living by spiritual principles. We must all commit to wholesome lifestyle by focusing on living worthy of the gospel. I applaud the author for his forthrightness, his honesty, and for making it abundantly clear that Jesus is Lord and that He demands the highest standard of living from His follower. I join Rev. Kristilere in the fervent hope that the reading of this book and by taking the teachings to heart, many more will benefit from the promised abundant life that leads to eternal life with the Lord. It is often said that the journey of a thousand miles begins with the very first step.
