Pada Tahun 2019 jumlah pelamar Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil 2019 mencapai 5.056.585 pelamar sementara yang dibuka hanya 196.682 formasi. Sehingga bisa di katakan bahwa PNS masih merupakan Pekerjaan favorit rakyat Indonesia. Belum optimalnya kualitas media informasi Unit Perencanaan berbasis daring dan visual di IAIN Jember menjadi core issue yang diangkat pada kegiatan aktualisasi ini. Pemilihan core issue ini berdasarkan pada 3 pertimbangan utama. Pertama, Unit Perencanaan belum memiliki media daring (Website, Fanspage) sebagai media informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penyampaian informasi, misalnya tentang profil perencanaan, struktur organisasi, notulensi kegiatan, kegiatan evaluasi anggaran, persiapan penyusuanan anggaran, review usulan anggaran, sosialisasi dan koordinasi penguatan SDM Perencanaan. Kedua, penggunaan media informasi secara visual (Poster/Banner) belum terlaksana secara maksimal untuk dimanfaatkan dalam memberikan informasi secara publik, misalnya berkaitan dengan tentang visi misi dan program kerja perencanaan tahun 2020. Ketiga, perlunya peningkatan kualitas media informasi berbasis daring guna mendukung program pemerintah dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0 karena dengan pemanfaatan teknologi daring tersebut informasi tersampaikan secara efektif dan efisien.
