Dette er min selvbiografi. Jeg lever stadig og har det godt, men jeg føler at det er nu den skal udgives. Medens jeg lever. Den dækker perioden fra 1948 - 2014 og jeg har forsøgt at beskrive alle de ting, som jeg selv mener har haft betydning for mit liv. Det handler om godt og dårligt, komedie og tragedie, frihed og undertrykkelse, dumhed og genialitet. Selv rummer jeg alle disse egenskaber og mange af de mennesker, som livet har ladet mit møde, har også været til inspiration. Hvis jeg skal give karakter for mit eget liv, så vil jeg siger "nogenlunde". Mange ting kunne være gået bedre, men der er også mange ting, som kunne være gået en hel del værre. Det at jeg overhovedet har nået den alder som jeg har er vel en succes i sig selv. Og jeg håber at kunne fortsætte i lang tid frem. Men for en sikkerheds skyld vælger jeg at publicere denne selvbiografi nu, hvor jeg stadig har kræfterne til at skabe. Jeg håber, at læserne vil finde den værd at læse.
