Yet I think it would be true to say that one could hardly hope to advance very far in the understanding of contemporary theology without some knowledge Of Heidegger's thought. His in uence seems to appear everywhere - in demythologizing and the problem of hermeneutics; in the doctrine of man; in theories of revelation; in the debate about God; and in other matters besides. The Concept of Time presents Heidegger's so-called Dilthey review, widely considered the first draft of his celebrated masterpiece, Being and Time.
