Esta obra apresenta pesquisa relacionada à experiência da constituição docente em Matemática em um curso de graduação na modalidade a distância. A partir de narrativas, a autora relata o percurso de formação de pessoas que já exerciam a docência e paralelamente trilhavam o caminho da formação superior. O processo da constituição desses professores perpassa alguns sentidos, os quais a análise das narrativas busca compreender: a relação com a Matemática nas vidas; saberes trazidos e encontros com novos saberes, formando um novo amálgama; a formação em Matemática a distância e a busca da presença na ausência, como estratégia de aprendizado através de grupos de estudos e formas de interação. A experiência de constituição docente se dá ao longo da vida a partir de diferentes experiências da própria discência e na relação docente estabelecida antes mesmo da formação superior na área. A EaD foi vista como uma modalidade possível de aprender a ser professor/a de Matemática articulando os diferentes saberes e práticas vivenciadas. O encontro de saberes foi possível pelas implicações da busca teoria/empiria na reflexão permanente sobre a própria prática

This book brings together various studies that assume phenomenology to analyze how mathematics education is affected by the experience of being in the cyberspace.
