We report measurements of branching fractions for charged and neutral B -> ncK decays, and determine the nc mass and width. The results are based on an analysis of 29.1 fb-1 of data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB. Over the last few years, the B factories have established the Cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mechanism of CP violation in the Standard Model through the study of the decays of B mesons. The focus of Belle and BaBar has now expanded to the search for signatures of new physics beyond the Standard Model, particularly through examination of flavor-changing neutral-current transitions, which proceed through diagrams involving virtual loops. These decays are suppressed in the Standard Model, increasing sensitivity to new-physics effects but decreasing branching fractions. Exploiting large and growing datasets, BaBar and Belle have made many measurements in loop decays where a b quark transitions to an s quark, observing hints of possible deviations from Standard Model expectations in CP-violating measurements.

The authors present preliminary results of improved measurements of the CP-violating asymmetries and branching fractions in the decays B° →??−, B° → K+?−, B° →?°?°, and B° → K°?°. This update includes all data taken at the?(4S) resonance by the BABAR experiment at the asymmetric PEP-II B-meson factory at SLAC, corresponding to 467 ± 5 million B{bar B} pairs. They find S{sub??} = -0.68 ± 0.10 ± 0.03, C{sub??} = -0.25 ± 0.08 ± 0.02,?{sub K{sub?}} = -0.107 ± 0.016{sub -0.004}, {sup +0.006}, C{sub?°?°} = -0.43 ± 0.26 ± 0.05,?(B° →?°?°) = (1.83 ± 0.21 ± 0.13) x 10−6,?(B° → K°?°) = (10.1 ± 0.6 ± 0.4) x 10−6, where the first error is statistical and the second is systematic. They observe CP violation with a significance of 6.7? in B° → {pi}− and 6.1? in B° → K+{pi}−. Constraints on the Unitarity Triangle angle? are determined from the isospin relation between all B → {pi}{pi} rates and asymmetries.

The authors measure the time-dependent CP asymmetry parameters in B0 → K+K-K0 based on a data sample of approximately 277 million B-meson pairs recorded at the Y(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B-meson Factory at SLAC. They reconstruct two-body B0 decays to ?(1020)K$0top{S}$ and ?(1020)K$0top{L}$. Using a time-dependent maximum-likelihood fit, they measure sin2?eff(?K0) = 0.48 ± 0.28 ± 0.10, and C(?K0) = 0.16 ± 0.25 ± 0.09, where the first error is statistical, and the second is systematic. They also present measurements of the CP-violating asymmetries in the decay B0 → f0(→ ?+?-)K$0top{S}$. The results are obtained from a data sample of 209 x 106 Y(4S) → B$ar{B}$ decays, also collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. From a time-dependent maximum-likelihood fit they measure the mixing-induced CP violation parameter S(f0(980)K$0top{S}$) = - sin 2?efff0(980)K$0top{S}$ = -0.95$+0.32top{-0.23}$ ± 0.10 and the direct CP violation parameter C(f0(980)K$0top{S}$) = - 0.24 ± 0.31 ± 0.15, where the first errors are statistical and the second systematic. Finally, they present a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay B0 → f0(→ ?+?-)K$0top{S}$. From a time-dependent maximum likelihood fit to a data sample of 123 x 106 Y(4S) → B$ar{B}$ decays they find 93.6 ± 13.6 ± 6.4 signal events corresponding to a branching fraction of ?(B0 → f0(980)(→ ?+?-)K0) = (6.0 ± 0.9 ± 0.6 ± 1.2) x 10-6, where the first error is statistical, the second systematic, and the third due to model uncertainties.

We present measurements of CP-violating asymmetries and branching fractions for the decays B{sup +} {yields} {omega}{pi}{sup +}, B{sup +} {yields} {omega}K{sup +}, and B{sup 0} {yields} {omega}K{sup 0}. The data sample corresponds to 232 million B{bar B} pairs produced by e{sup +}e{sup -} annihilation at the {Upsilon}(4S) resonance. For the decay B{sup 0} {yields} {omega}K{sub s}{sup 0}, we measure the time-dependent CP-violation parameters S = 0.51{sub -0.39}{sup +0.35} {+-} 0.02, and C = -0.55{sub -0.26}{sup +0.28} {+-} 0.03. We also measure the branching fractions, in units of 10{sup -6}, {Beta}(B{sup +} {yields} {omega}{pi}{sup +}) = 6.1 {+-} 0.7 {+-} 0.4, {Beta}(B{sup +} {yields} {omega}K{sup +}) = 6.1 {+-} 0.6 {+-} 0.4, and {Beta}(B{sup 0} {yields} {omega}K{sup 0}) = 6.2 {+-} 1.0 {+-} 0.4, and charge asymmetries {Alpha}{sub ch}(B{sup +} {yields} {omega}{pi}{sup +}) = -0.01 {+-} 0.10 {+-} 0.01 and {Alpha}{sub ch}(B{sup +} {yields} {omega}K{sup +}) = 0.05 {+-} 0.09 {+-} 0.01.
