The authors report the measurement of the branching fractions of the rare decays B° → D{sub s}{sup (*)+}?−, B° → D{sub s}{sup (*)+}?−, and B° → D{sub s}{sup (*)-} K{sup (*)+} in a sample of 381 x 106?(4S) decays into B{bar B} pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy ee− storage ring. They present evidence for the decay B° → D{sub s}− K*+ and the vector-vector decays B° → D{sub s}{sup *+}?− and B° → D{sub s}{sup *-} K{sup *+}, as well as the first measurement of the vector meson polarization in these decays. They also determine the ratios of the CM-suppressed to CKM-favored amplitudes r(D{sup (*)}?) and r(D{sup (*)}?) in decays B° → D{sup (*)}{sup {+-}}?{sup {-+}} and B° → D{sup (*)}{sup {+-}}?{sup {-+}}, and comment on the prospects for measuring the Cp observable sin(2? +?).

The measured B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup+][pi][sup -] yield has a probability of less than 10[sup -3] to be a fluctuation of the background and they measure the branching fraction[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup+][pi][sup -])= (3.2[+-] 0.9(stat.)[+-] 1.0 (syst.)) x 10[sup -5]. The measured B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup -] K[sup+] yield has a probability of less than 5 x 10[sup -4] to be a fluctuation of the background and they measure the branching fraction[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup -] K[sup+])= (3.2[+-] 1.0(stat.)[+-] 1.0(syst.)) x 10[sup -5]. They also set 90% C.L. limits[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] D*[sub s][sup+][pi][sup -])

The authors present a study of the decays B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup (*)+] D*[sup -], using 20.8 fb[sup -1] of e[sup+]e[sup -] annihilation data recorded with the BABAR detector. The analysis is conducted with a partial reconstruction technique, in which only the D[sub s][sup (*)+] and the soft pion from the D*[sup -] decay are reconstructed. They measure the branching fractions[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup (*)+] D*[sup -])= (1.03[+-] 0.14[+-] 0.13[+-] 0.26)% and[Beta](B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup (*)+] D*[sup -])= (1.97[+-] 0.15[+-] 0.30[+-] 0.49)%, where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is the error due to the D[sub s][sup+][yields][phi][pi][sup+] branching fraction uncertainty. From the B[sup 0][yields] D[sub s][sup (*)+] D*[sup -] angular distributions, they measure the fraction of longitudinal polarization[Lambda][sub L]/[Lambda]= (51.9[+-] 5.0[+-] 2.8)%, which is consistent with theoretical predictions based on factorization.
