We present preliminary results of searches for exclusive B[sup 0] decays to[pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup 0] among 22.7 million b[bar b] pairs collected by the BABAR experiment from electron-positron collisions near the[Upsilon](4S) resonance. We measure[Beta](B[sup 0][yields][pi][sup[+-]])= (28.9[+-] 5.4[+-] 4.3) x 10[sup 6], and find no evidence for the presence of any other decay mode in the[pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup 0] Dalitz plot. Upper limits are determined for the branching fractions of B[sup 0][yields][sup 0][pi][sup 0], non-resonant B[sup 0] decays to[pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup 0] and of several discrete regions of[pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup 0] phase-space. We also measure the direct CP-violating asymmetry between the rates of untagged[sup+][pi][sup -] and[sup -][pi][sup+], finding no significant evidence for an effect.

The branching fractions for B[sup 0] --> K[sup 0][pi][sup +][pi][sup -], B[sup 0] --> K*[sup +][pi][sup -] and B[sup 0] --> D[sup -]( --> K[sub s][sup 0][pi][sup -])[pi][sup +] decaying to a K[sub s][sup 0][pi][sup +][pi][sup -] state have been measured and agree with previous measurements. The direct CP violating parameter A[sub K*[pi]] was measured for the decay B[sup 0] --> K*[sup +][pi][sup -] and is in agreement with the CLEO measurement, with no evidence of CP violation with the statistics used. Using larger datasets, one can extract amplitudes and relative phases of the resonant contributions to the Dalitz plot, with the possibility to observe new B-meson decays.

We report on analyses of B[sup -] mesons decaying into D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] and D[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] final states using 89 million B[sup -] decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory. Preliminary measurements are given for the inclusive branching fractions for B[sup -][yields] D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -] and B[sup -][yields] D*[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup -], and for the exclusive branching fractions for B[sup -][yields] D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0][pi][sup -] and B[sup -][yields] D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0][pi][sup -], where D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0] and D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0] are the two narrow c[bar u] P-wave states. The ratio[Beta](B[sup -][yields] D*[sub 2](2460)[sup 0][pi][sup -])/[Beta](B[sup -][yields] D[sub 1](2420)[sup 0][pi][sup -]) is measured to be 0.80[+-] 0.07[+-] 0.16.

We have measured production of[pi][sup[+-]], [Kappa][sup[+-]], [ital p]/[ital[bar p]], [Kappa][sup 0] and[Lambda][sup 0]/[bar[Lambda]][sup 0] as a function of momentum in inclusive hadronic[ital Z][sup 0] decay events and separately in events containing primary light-([ital uds]) and[ital b]-quarks. The SLD Cherenkov Ring Imaging Detector was used to identify charged pions, kaons, and protons over most of the available momentum range 0.8[lt][ital p][lt]33 GeV/c. The neutral[Kappa][sup 0][sub s] and[Lambda][sup 0] were reconstructed using the[pi][sup+][pi][sup -] and[ital p][pi][sup -] decay modes, respectively. We present the first comparisons of momentum of charged tracks measured in the SLD Vertex Detector. Substantial differences are observed, consistent with the kinematics of[ital B]-hadron production in Z[sup 0] decays and the properties of[ital B]-hadron decays as measured at lower energies.

The authors present an updated search for direct CP violation in the decay B[sup 0] --> K[sup +]pi[sup -]. Using 227 million [Upsilon](4S) --> B[bar B] decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy E[sup +]e[sup -] collider at SLAC, the authors observe a total signal yield of n(K-pi[sup +]) + n(K[sup +]pi[sup -]) = 1606 [+-] 51 decays and measure the asymmetry [n(K[sup -]pi[sup +])-n(K[sup +]pi[sup -])]/[n(K[sup -]pi[sup +])+n(K[sup +]pi[sup -])] = 0.133 [+-] 0.030(stat) [+-] 0.009(syst). This measurement establishes direct CP violation in the B[sup 0] meson system at the level of 4.2 standard deviations.
