The authors present preliminary measurements of branching fractions of the b[yields] s[bar s]s penguin-dominated decays B[sup[+-]][yields][phi]K[sup[+-]] and B[sup 0][yields][phi]K[sup 0] in a sample of approximately 89 million B[bar B] pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B-meson Factor at SLAC. They determine[Beta](B[sup[+-]][yields][phi]K[sup[+-]])= (10.0[sub -0.8][sup+0.9](stat.)[+-] 0.5(syst.)) x 10[sup -6] and[Beta](B[sup 0][yields][phi]K[sup 0])= (7.6[sub -1.2][sup+1.3](stat.)[+-] 0.5(syst.)) x 10[sup -6]. Rare B Decays And Direct Cp Violation At Babar written by and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003 with categories.
The search for rare B decays and direct CF violation at BABAR is described. The following measurements (based on integrated luminosities ranging from 56.4 to 81.9 fb[sup -1]) are summarized: the inclusive branching fractions and direct CF asymmetries of B[sup+][yields] h[sup+]h[sup -]H[sup+] (h=[pi], K), the exclusive branching fractions of B[sup+][yields] K[sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup+] (where significant signals are observed in the B[sup+][yields] K*[sup 0](892)[pi][sup+], B[sup+][yields] f[sub 0](98)K[sup+], B[sup+][yields][chi][sub c0]K[sup+], B[sup+][yields][bar D][sup 0][pi][sup+] and B[sup+][yields] higher K*[sup 0][pi][sup+] channels), the branching fractions of B[sup+][yields][rho][sup 0][rho][sup+] and B[sup+][yields][rho][sup 0] K*[sup+], and finally, the branching fractions, the longitudinal components, and the direct CF asymmetries in B[yields][phi]K*.

Measurement Of Branching Fractions And Cp Violating Asymmetries In B Rho H written by and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003 with categories.
We present measurements of branching fractions and CP-violating asymmetries in B[sup 0][yields][rho][sup[+-]][pi][sup[-+]] and B[sup 0][yields][rho][sup -]K[sup+] decays. The results are obtained from a data sample of 88.9 x 10[sup 6][Upsilon](4S)[yields] B[bar B] decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. From a time-dependent maximum likelihood fit we measure the charge-averaged branching fractions[Beta](B[sup 0][yields][rho][sup[+-]][pi][sup[-+]])= (22.6[+-] 1.8 (stat)[+-] 2.2 (syst)) x 10[sup -6] and[Beta](B[sup 0][yields][rho][sup -]K[sup+])= (7.3[sub -1.2][sup+1.3][+-] 1.3) x 10[sup -6]; and the CP-violating charge asymmetries A[sub CP][sup[rho][pi]]= -0.18[+-] 0.08[+-] 0.03 and A[sub CP][sup[rho]K]= 0.28[+-] 0.17[+-] 0.08; the direct CP violation parameter C[sub[rho][pi]]= 0.36[+-] 0.18[+-] 0.04 and the mixing-induced CP violation parameter S[sub[rho][pi]]= 0.19[+-] 0.24[+-] 0.03; and the dilution parameters[Delta]C[sub[rho][pi]]= 0.28[sub -0.19][sup+0.18][+-] 0.04 and[Delta]S[sub[rho][pi]]= 0.15[+-] 0.25[+-] 0.03.

We have searched for direct CP violation in quasi-two-body charmless B decays observed in a sample of about 45 million B mesons collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider. We measure the following charge asymmetries in decay: [Alpha][sub CP](B[sup [+-]] [yields] [eta][prime]K[sup [+-]]) = -0.11 [+-] 0.02, [Alpha][sub CP](B[sup [+-]] [yields] [omega][pi][sup [+-]]) = 0.01[sub -0.31][sup +0.29] [+-] 0.03, [Alpha][sub CP](B[sup [+-]] [yields] [phi]K[sup [+-]]) = -0.05 [+-] 0.20 [+-] 0.03, [Alpha][sub CP](B[sup [+-]] [yields] [phi]K*[sup [+-]]) = -0.43[sub -0.30][sup +0.36] [+-] 0.06, and [Alpha][sub CP](B[sup 0]/[bar B][sup 0] [yields] [phi]K*[sup 0]/[bar K]*[sup 0]) = 0.00 [+-] 0.27 [+-] 0.03.

The authors present a model-independent measurement of[Beta](D[sub s][sup -][yields][phi][pi][sup -])/[Beta](D[sup 0][yields] K[sup -][pi][sup+]) by partially reconstructing the decay[bar B][sup 0][yields] D*[sup+]D*[sub s][sup -]. Using data collected with the CLEO II detector at CESR, they determine[Beta](D[sub s][sup -][yields][phi][pi][sup -])/[Beta](D[sup 0][yields] K[sup -][pi][sup+])= 0.92[+-] 0.20(stat.)[+-] 0.11(syst.). Their measurement of[Beta](D[sup 0][yields] K[sup -][pi][sup+]) then gives[Beta](D[sub s][sup -][yields][phi][pi][sup -])= (3.59[+-] 0.77[+-] 0.48)%.

Branching Fraction Measurements Of B Eta C K Decays written by and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2004 with categories.
We study the decays B[sup +] [yields] [eta][sub c]K[sup +] and B[sup 0] [yields] [eta][sub c]K[sup 0], where the [eta][sub c] is reconstructed in the K[sub S][sup 0] K[sup [+-]] [pi][sup [-+]] and K[sup +]K[sup -] [pi][sup 0] decay modes. Results are based on a sample of 86 million B[bar B] pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC e[sup +]e[sup -] B Factory. We measure the branching fractions [Beta](B[sup +] [yields] [eta][sub c]K[sup +]) = (1.34 [+-] 0.09 [+-] 0.13 [+-] 0.41) x 10[sup -3] and [Beta](B[sup 0] [yields] [eta][sub c]K[sup 0]) = (1.18 [+-] 0.16 [+-] 0.13 [+-] 0.37) x 10[sup -3], where the first error is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third reflects the [eta][sub c] branching fraction uncertainty. In addition, we search for B [yields] [eta][sub c]K events with [eta][sub c] [yields] 2(K[sup +]K[sup -]) and [eta][sub c] [yields] [phi][phi] and determine the [eta][sub c] decay branching fraction ratios [Beta]([eta][sub c] [yields] 2(K[sup +]K[sup -]))/[Beta]([eta][sub c] [yields] K[bar K][pi]) = (2.3 [+-] 0.7 [+-] 0.6) x 10[sup -2] and [Beta]([eta][sub c] [yields] [phi][phi])/[Beta]([eta][sub c] [yields] K[bar K][pi]) = (5.5 [+-] 1.4 [+-] 0.5) x 10[sup -2].
