Hierna doet ze de woorddelen zelf (prefix, suffix en stam) uitvoerig uit de doeken. Tot slot diept dit boek de termen uit die het vaakst voorkomen bij een algemeen klinisch onderzoek. En om de opgedane kennis onmiddellijk toe te kunnen passen is de theorie doorspekt met oefeningen.
