Liebe Leserin, lieber Leser, Fotokurse erfreuen sich in den Volkshochschulen immer größerer Beliebtheit, nicht zuletzt seit die Digitalfotografie mit ihren beinahe unendlich erscheinenden Möglichkeiten auch in der Freizeitfotografie Einzug gehalten hat. Dabei hängt der individuelle Erfolg des Einzelnen vor allem davon ab, inwieweit es der Dozent schafft, auf die Kursteilnehmer und Ihre speziellen Erfahrungen, Interessen und Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Der Autor dieses Buches, Herr Ronny Lauer, ist seit mehr als 20 Jahren erfolgreich als Dozent an verschiedenen Volkshochschulen tätig. In mehr als 500 gehaltenen Kursen und über 10.000 Unterrichtsstunden konnte er zusätzlich zu seiner unbestrittenen, hohen Fachkompetenz enorme Erfahrungen im Volkshochschulalltag sammeln und ein Gespür für die Bedürfnisse und Interessen seiner Kursteilnehmer entwickeln. Aus eigener Erfahrung als Kursteilnehmerin kann ich nur bestätigen, dass es Herr Ronny Lauer wie kein anderer versteht, zum einen Spaß und Begeisterung am Thema zu wecken und zum anderen die richtigen Tipps und Tricks für eigene schnelle Erfolgserlebnisse beim Fotografieren zu vermitteln. Er veranschaulicht auch sehr komplexe Sachverhalte stets leicht verständlich und mit einem Augenzwinkern. Darum freut es mich umso mehr, dass Herr Lauer sich entschlossen hat, mit diesem Buch seine Erfahrung und sein umfangreiches Wissen einem noch breiteren Publikum (sei es zur Nachbereitung eines Volkshochschulkurses oder zum individuellen Selbststudium), zugänglich zu machen. Und somit bleibt mir nichts weiter als Ihnen bei der Lektüre dieses ebenso hilfreichen wie kurzweiligen Lehrwerks und bei der Weiterentwicklung Ihrer Fotokünste viel Spaß und Unterhaltung zu wünschen.
