Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit yang paling banyak ditemukan pada wanita dan angka kematiannya masih menempati posisi kedua kasus kanker yang dapat mempengaruhi lebih dari 2,1 juta orang pada tahun 2015. Berdasar kasus tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kanker payudara adalah jenis kanker yang menjadi penyebab utama kematian wanita, namun kematian ini dapat dikurangi dengan melakukan deteksi dini terhadap sel kanker. Oleh karena itu, deteksi kanker berperan penting dalam proses pengobatan dan membantu meningkatkan angka kelangsungan hidup. Prediksi kanker dapat membantu pasien untuk berkonsultasi dengan dokter lebih cepat. Sehingga, dengan prediksi kanker yang tepat sangat penting untuk memperbarui perawatan pasien kanker payudara. Teknik Machine Learning dapat dilakukan untuk memprediksi kanker payudara karena dapat menangkap interaksi tingkat tinggi antar data yang mungkin menghasilkan prediksi yang lebih baik untuk membedakan antarajinak dan ganas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memperkenalkan pendekatan klasifikasi yang efektif berdasarkan Support Vector Machine. Support Vector Machine (SVM) adalah model yang digunakan untuk melakukan prediksi kanker payudara. Untuk mempermudah proses prediksi, hasil prediksi kanker payudara diterapkan dalam bentuk web base dengan framework Django untuk dapat digunakan oleh dokter dalam menentukan keputusan dengan cepat. Hasil modeling menunjukkan bahwa prediksi kanker payudara menggunakan SVM memperoleh akurasi tertinggi yaitu 98,24%.

Global value chains (GVCs) powered the surge of international trade after 1990 and now account for almost half of all trade. This shift enabled an unprecedented economic convergence: poor countries grew rapidly and began to catch up with richer countries. Since the 2008 global financial crisis, however, the growth of trade has been sluggish and the expansion of GVCs has stalled. Meanwhile, serious threats have emerged to the model of trade-led growth. New technologies could draw production closer to the consumer and reduce the demand for labor. And trade conflicts among large countries could lead to a retrenchment or a segmentation of GVCs. World Development Report 2020: Trading for Development in the Age of Global Value Chains examines whether there is still a path to development through GVCs and trade. It concludes that technological change is, at this stage, more a boon than a curse. GVCs can continue to boost growth, create better jobs, and reduce poverty provided that developing countries implement deeper reforms to promote GVC participation; industrial countries pursue open, predictable policies; and all countries revive multilateral cooperation.
