August Gottlieb Spangenberg, Bishop of the Church of the United Brethren.ale In the Preface to the original work, the venerable author describes, with characteristic simplicity, the object which he had in view in its compilation, the reasons which induced him to undertake it, and the sources whence his ma terials were principally derived.
