Buku ini mengupas Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dalam kegiatan kepramukaan. Pramuka telah memiliki Kode Kehormatan di dalamnya, yang memuat Satya dan Dharma yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan di masing-masing tingkatan. Namun, di sisi lain Kementerian Pendidikan Republik Indonesia meluncurkan sebuah buku Konsep dan Pedoman Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Dalam buku tersebut tertulis penasihatnya yaitu Prof. Dr. Muhajir Efendi, M.A.P. sedangkan ketua Tim PPK yaitu Dr. Arie Budiman, M.Si. Menurut Konsep dan Pedoman PK tersebut penguatan pendidikan karakter dapat dilakukan melalui Pertama, Struktur Program, antara lain jenjang kelas, ekosistem sekolah, penguatan kapasitas guru; Kedua, Struktur Kurikulum, antara lain kegiatan pembentukan karakter yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran (intrakurikuler), kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler; Ketiga, Struktur Kegiatan, antara lain berbagai program dan kegiatan yang mampu mensinergikan empat dimensi pengolahan karakter dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara (olah raga, olah pikir, olah rasa, dan olah hati). Dengan demikian penulis bermaksud mengupas keterkaitan nilai-nilai PPK, meliputi Religius, Nasionalis, Mandiri, Gotong-royong, dan Integritas dengan kode kehormatan Gerakan Pramuka. Selanjutnya memberikan contoh nyata kegiatan Perkemahan secara Virtual (Virtual Camp) tingkat penggalang dan menganalisa nilai-nilai karakter sesuai PPK. Dalam buku ini dilengkapi dengan visualisasi gambar dan video dalam bentuk barcode, untuk dapat melihatnya bisa membaca petunjuk penggunaan buku.
