The annual meeting of the ARLs Junges Forum forum for young professionals on 6-8 October 2016 in Leipzig addressed various aspects of the energy transition-when, where, how and why? In presentations and discussion groups, they considered not only technical, legal and planning aspects related to infrastructure expansion and the management and structuring of the energy transition, but also its significance for spatial development. The focus of the annual meeting was selected in view of the current importance of the issue. The transition is a process intended to ensure a safe, environmentally friendly and economically successful future and as such involves a broad spectrum of social, planning and scientific challenges and opportunities that require more in-depth consideration and analysis. The following questions thus provided the starting points for the presentations: What are the key action areas for the implementation of the energy transition? How will the cities and the countryside of the future look? How do the various actors behave and how do they react to different technologies? Where and why do conflicts and competition emerge and how can resistance and acceptance be dealt with? These key questions were the focus of the annual meeting and informed the following themes: How smart is the city of the future? Pole position for new form: of mobility and We say no! - public protest in the energy transition.

Kein Abgrund ist wohl tief genug für uns Menschen und die selbst gelegten Minenfelder sprengen uns immer wieder in genau die Höhlen zurück, aus denen wir wohl einst gekrochen sind. Diese “Schattenpoesie” ist wahrlich nicht schön, aber dafür “ungeschönt”! Ein tiefer Blick in die Abgründe und Minenfelder des Menschseins: Folterknechte, Kindermörder, Vergewaltiger, pädophile Priester, brutale Gewalttäter und Kellerleichen werden real bis surreal ebenso betrachtet wie der alltägliche Beziehungswahnsinn, Wut, Hass, Angst, Einsamkeit, Bigotterie, Pandemie, Krieg, Umweltoverkill oder die wahnwitzig-süchtige Digitalisierung und Entfremdung des postmodernen “Multimedia Maniacs”, seiner Beziehungsunfähigkeit und Lieblosigkeit. Schier endlos ließ’ sich diese traurige Liste wohl fortführen... sarkastisch, drastisch, manchmal schockierend- eben “schattenpoetisch” mit einem Zentner schwarzen Humor, einer Unzahl Tränen und... einem Fünkchen Hoffnung! Guntram Müller wurde 03.02.1962 in Höhr-Grenzhausen (Westerwald) geboren und lebte seit früher Kindheit bis zum Jahr 1984 in Neuwied am Rhein. Nach Beendigung des Zivildienstes ist er nach Köln gezogen. Er hat als Pädagoge gearbeitet und nebenbei stets mit Begeisterung und Herzblut Blues - und Rockmusik gemacht. Außerdem ist er Vater von zwei längst erwachsenen Kindern. Nach einem Burnout, einigen persönlichen Tiefschlägen und einer psychischen Erkrankung ist er zunächst auf therapeutischem Weg sehr spät zum Schreiben gekommen. Seit 2017 schreibt er mit Leidenschaft Liedtexte, Gedichte und Kurzgeschichten zu Erfahrungen, Beobachtungen und Themen, die ihn selbst und seine Mitmenschen berühren, belasten, quälen, anrühren und interessieren.
