Suatu hal yang menarik Mikrotik RouterOS memasukan beberapa tool, seperti Netwatch, Sceduller dan Script yang dapat membuat Mikrotik menjadi pintar dan dapat berreaksi terhadap kondisi yang telah diperkirakan oleh Network Administrator. Misal memindahkan gateway, mengirim e-mail ke network administrator saat ada gangguan access ataupun ada keanehan traffik jaringan dan masih banyak lagi.
