Overview and Goals Wireless communication technologies are undergoing rapid advancements. The past few years have experienced a steep growth in research in the area of wireless ad hoc networks. In this book, the focus is on the analysis and design of efficient, adaptive, and scalable routing protocols for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. The main objective of this book is to develop routing protocols, which are appropriate for challenging environment of mobile ad-hoc networks. Given the inherent characteristics of these networks, the solutions must be adaptable to dynamic topologies, efficient with the bandwidth usage, scalable and energy efficient when various network parameters are concerned.
