Kemajuan teknologi, selain akan mem-permudah pekerjaan masyarakat dalam hal efisiensi waktu, ketepatan, tenaga, dsb., tentu juga merupakan indikator betapa majunya sebuah bangsa. Terlepas dari dampak positif tersebut, modernisasi juga merupakan salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap terlupakannya budaya-budaya tradisional bangsa yang sejalan dengan kurangnya literasi generasi penerus terhadap budaya tersebut. Melestarikan budaya bangsa bukanlah hal yang mudah untuk dilakukan, terlebih lagi jika mengingat betapa banyaknya budaya bangsa kita ini. Akan tetapi, ketidak-mudahan tersebut bukanlah suatu ketidakmungkinan. Melestarikan budaya Indonesia secara keseluruhan merupakan suatu target yang diharapkan akan tercapai suatu saat nanti.
