Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Theologie - Biblische Theologie, Note: 1,7, Johannes Gutenberg-Universitat Mainz (Seminar fur Neues Testament), Veranstaltung: Seminar Alttestamentliche Gestalten im Neuen Testament, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die folgende Arbeit befasst sich mit der Gestalt des Mose im Johannesevangelium. Der Umstand, dass das Johannesevangelium Mose insgesamt sieben Mal namentlich nennt, macht die Rezeption des Moses durch dessen Autor zu einem beachtenswerten Objekt. Zunachst soll die literarische Situierung der Mose-Erwahnungen im Gesamtzusammenhang des Johannesevangeliums betrachtet werden. Danach analysiert die Arbeit schwerpunktmassig jede der sieben namentlichen Erwahnungen zunachst einzeln und versucht zu verstehen, wie der Evangelist Johannes Mose darstellt. Dabei werden der inhaltliche und literarische Kontext beleuchtet und hinsichtlich der Frage nach Gestalt des Mose und dem Verhaltnis zur Person Jesu ausgewertet. Anschliessend sollen die daraus resultierenden Ergebnisse auf eine mogliche Systematik untersucht werden, die Auskunft uber das Verhaltnis zwischen Moses und Jesus in der Intention des Autors des Evangeliums geben soll. Abschliessend soll verbunden mit dem Fazit der Frage nachgegangen werden, ob anhand des selektiven Verhaltnisses zwischen Mose und Jesus von einer Kontinuitat oder einer Diskontinuitat der beiden Testamente ausgegangen werden kann. In Anbetracht dessen, dass die fruhneuzeitlichen protestantischen Schriften gerne die Formulierung das Gesetz Mosij" in abwertender Polemik zwecks christozentrischer Absichten verwendeten, bekommt der gewahlte Schwerpunkt eine Bedeutung, die nicht nur von Interesse fur die antike johanneischen Gemeinde war. Als Textgrundlage dient die Ubersetzung der Elberfelder Bibel, wo es von semantischer Bedeutung ist, wird der griechische Urtext herangezoge
