She didnt want her name to be mentioned, theres a story all right! She came back reluctantly. OK. SST, my name is Joan, she said. Joan like hell! No problem, I can use that name. Names are like ages. They really dont count on my show because you hardly get the true dose, all the same I just needed it for the reference. OK, Joan, whats the issue? Let me see your steps, the floor is all yours now. I decided to spur her. I havent got all day even if she was my only caller. Joan, lets hear you before our shot time is up, and we might just miss you for life. I was pushing her. That seemed to wake her, and from then, she started coming out like a canary. When something is bottled up for so long inside someone and it wants to spurt out, a small nod will collapse the whole balloon. SST, you see, I never knew my life will drain to this level. I was not brought up to be like this. I had a good family upbringing, nice parents that wanted the best for me. It was not meant to be like this for me. I bet I was left astray by the company I made in school. Thats it, she is talking now! You cant put it down once you start reading . . .

Inspiring, entertaining, intriguing, and thrilling. He had a smooth and great command of the English language that left one in no doubt of the type of education he had. I was not particularly elated about getting a male caller. The men have a way of drawing you to their problems, which often had to do with their business deals or financial difficulties, and you would end up giving the same advice all over again, and thus turning the show to be a boring repetition of talks. But with the ladies, you are sure to bounce on an interesting topic that reveals a lot of a sleazy life history. It was not that the men had no history of scandals of theirs to reveal, but it was the ladies that normally were more imminent on their life stories. Hello, DJ SST! he said. He was definitely not a regular caller, probably not even a first caller. My buddies on the show were all used to calling me with just SST! Yeah, you are welcome to the motivation dance club on Peoples FM, and what dance steps do you have for us today? I asked in my usual polite and rehearsed manner of speaking to a new caller. Really, sir, this is my first time, he said rather apologetically. I was right. He was a first-time caller! And he was coming with this sir stuff that I haven't heard on the show for such a long time. Since I became a buddy and household name to my callers in Lagos, everybody was quick to address me just as SST. There was no sir or Mr. for me now! For a caller not to call me with my familiar initials could imply he was a new person on the sho' as I call it. And nobody wants to be seen as a new person on the show in Lagos! Anyway, I think I like the guy. He sounded a little cultured and might even turn out to be a gentleman! A gentleman in Lagos? Well, why not? You never know as they say! OK, you are welcome to the motivation dance club, and as you know, I am DJ SST, and we dont need introduction on the motivation dance club in Lagos. We just need more people to move on to our dance floor and show us their dancing steps! I was trying to loosen the tension that he exhibited in his voice. Yes, thanks, sir! he said.

Your assigmnent in life is never far from you, but it could be far from your focus. Always change your focus to discover what is God's purpose for your life! Wealth is not your purpose, it is a slice of it. Fame is not your purpose, it is a slice of it. Power is not your purpose, it is a slice of it and until you discover your purpose, the slices will keep distracting you from God's plan for your life! Let no attraction; either the attractions of money, fame or power distract you from pursuing your purpose in life! The attractions that cannot distract you at the early stage of your struggles in discovering your purpose in life, will serve you at its later stage! Trying to do like everybody else might not be your purpose. Trying to do what people like may not be your purpose. Trying to do as you are told may not be your purpose. Trying to to impress the people around you, may not be your purpose. Discovering your purpose in life will give you a picture of where your tomorrow will be. It will give you the right mentality to achieving a breakthrough in life. Because whenever the journey of your struggles starts to bog down, you cannot breakthrough with the wrong mentality that sees you from a picture of where you found yourself. You can only go forward with a right mentality of the picture of where your tomorrow will be. And when tomorrow comes and you see yourself in great victory, you will then realise that what is needed is not to thank God for answered prayers but to apologise to Him for the times we go about in behaviours that shows He was not faithful to us! A feeling in actions and activities that shows He might not really have cared about our situation! I came to the point that I planned to stop the show for the day. My dear listeners, always have a positive attitude to whatever you are going through in life and keep to the path and action that will carry you to your victory in life. You can't get an answer by following a formula half way. You can't get an answer by following a formula the wrong way. The formula ensures that we do away with anything that is stopping us from achieving our victory in life. Most times, it is the presence of some little things that is denying the coming of some wonderful things in our lives... HE CHANGES PEOPLE'S LIVES THROUGH HIS MOTIVATIONAL
