La figura originariamente procede del Derecho norteamericano, donde recibe la denominación de testamento vital. El Informe Muerte Digna en Colombia sistematiza el conocimiento disponible sobre el derecho emergente a la muerte digna, ello para saber más, pero también para saber hacia dónde debemos avanzar.
