Topological Fixed Point Theory Of Multivalued Mappings written by Lech Górniewicz and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2006-06-03 with Mathematics categories.
This book is an attempt to give a systematic presentation of results and me- ods which concern the ?xed point theory of multivalued mappings and some of its applications. In selecting the material we have restricted ourselves to stu- ing topological methods in the ?xed point theory of multivalued mappings and applications, mainly to di?erential inclusions. Thus in Chapter III the approximation (on the graph) method in ?xed point theory of multivalued mappings is presented. Chapter IV is devoted to the ho- logical methods and contains more general results, e.g. the Lefschetz Fixed Point Theorem, the ?xed point index and the topological degree theory. In Chapter V applications to some special problems in ?xed point theory are formulated. Then in the last chapter a direct applications to di?erential inclusions are presented. Note that Chapters I and II have an auxiliary character, and only results c- nected with the Banach Contraction Principle (see Chapter II) are strictly related to topological methods in the ?xed point theory. In the last section of our book (see Section 75) we give a bibliographicalguide and also signalsome further results which are not contained in our monograph. The author thanks several colleagues and my wife Maria who read and c- mented on the manuscript. These include J. Andres, A. Buraczewski, G. Gabor, A. G ́orka,M.Go ́rniewicz, S. Park and A. Wieczorek. The author wish to express his gratitude to P. Konstanty for preparing the electronic version of this monograph.

Viability Invariance And Applications written by Ovidiu Carja and has been published by Elsevier this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2007-07-18 with Mathematics categories.
The book is an almost self-contained presentation of the most important concepts and results in viability and invariance. The viability of a set K with respect to a given function (or multi-function) F, defined on it, describes the property that, for each initial data in K, the differential equation (or inclusion) driven by that function or multi-function) to have at least one solution. The invariance of a set K with respect to a function (or multi-function) F, defined on a larger set D, is that property which says that each solution of the differential equation (or inclusion) driven by F and issuing in K remains in K, at least for a short time. The book includes the most important necessary and sufficient conditions for viability starting with Nagumo's Viability Theorem for ordinary differential equations with continuous right-hand sides and continuing with the corresponding extensions either to differential inclusions or to semilinear or even fully nonlinear evolution equations, systems and inclusions. In the latter (i.e. multi-valued) cases, the results (based on two completely new tangency concepts), all due to the authors, are original and extend significantly, in several directions, their well-known classical counterparts. - New concepts for multi-functions as the classical tangent vectors for functions - Provides the very general and necessary conditions for viability in the case of differential inclusions, semilinear and fully nonlinear evolution inclusions - Clarifying examples, illustrations and numerous problems, completely and carefully solved - Illustrates the applications from theory into practice - Very clear and elegant style

Set Valued Mappings With Applications In Nonlinear Analysis written by Donal O'Regan and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2002-09-26 with Mathematics categories.
Interest in the mathematical analysis of multi-functions has increased rapidly over the past thirty years, partly because of its applications in fields such as biology, control theory and optimization, economics, game theory, and physics. Set Valued Mappings with Applications to Nonlinear Analysis contains 29 research articles from leading mathematicians in this area. The contributors were invited to submit papers on topics such as integral inclusion, ordinary and partial differential inclusions, fixed point theorems, boundary value problems, and optimal control. This collection will be of interest to researchers in analysis and will pave the way for the creation of new mathematics in the future.

Handbook Of Topological Fixed Point Theory written by Robert F. Brown and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2005-12-05 with Mathematics categories.
This book is the first in the world literature presenting all new trends in topological fixed point theory. Until now all books connected to the topological fixed point theory were devoted only to some parts of this theory. This book will be especially useful for post-graduate students and researchers interested in the fixed point theory, particularly in topological methods in nonlinear analysis, differential equations and dynamical systems. The content is also likely to stimulate the interest of mathematical economists, population dynamics experts as well as theoretical physicists exploring the topological dynamics.

Graph algebras possess the capacity to relate fundamental concepts of computer science, combinatorics, graph theory, operations research, and universal algebra. They are used to identify nontrivial connections across notions, expose conceptual properties, and mediate the application of methods from one area toward questions of the other four. After

This collection of original articles and surveys written by leading experts in their fields is dedicated to Arrigo Cellina and James A. Yorke on the occasion of their 65th birthday. The volume brings the reader to the border of research in differential equations, a fast evolving branch of mathematics that, besides being a main subject for mathematicians, is one of the mathematical tools most used both by scientists and engineers.

Global Optimization Using Interval Analysis written by Eldon Hansen and has been published by CRC Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2003-12-19 with Mathematics categories.
Employing a closed set-theoretic foundation for interval computations, Global Optimization Using Interval Analysis simplifies algorithm construction and increases generality of interval arithmetic. This Second Edition contains an up-to-date discussion of interval methods for solving systems of nonlinear equations and global optimization problems. It expands and improves various aspects of its forerunner and features significant new discussions, such as those on the use of consistency methods to enhance algorithm performance. Provided algorithms are guaranteed to find and bound all solutions to these problems despite bounded errors in data, in approximations, and from use of rounded arithmetic.
