"If somebody had said to me 12 months ago that I would be sitting on a bench in the middle of a field communicating with my horses, or enjoying deep meditation on a regular basis, or learning to rebalance myself, my animals, and even other people, I would have told them they were living in la-la land. Well, here we are, well and truly residing in la-la land... . " Karen shares the first year of an extraordinary journey into the spiritual and energetic world of meditation and horse human relationship development. As she delves deeper into herself, Karen begins to understand what is an authentic energetic connection, and what is just the ego getting in the way. She lets us know how she feels when she makes her first foray into the healing effects of rebalancing her own energy, and the energy of her horses. And, she shows us how she learned to become vulnerable with the herd, release expectations and be present, and in return, gain absolute trust from the horses. Meg also shares an element of her journey into this exciting world. She explains why she felt the need to change how she works with her horses, and how that change manifested itself. Their guide, Camille, provides an intellectual perspective as the paths unwind, and shares some of her own journey in deepening her understanding of the energetic approach. Karen also channels the horses' voices providing an intriguing insight into their world.

The Ideal Bench written by Lito Seizani and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-05-08 with categories.

The ideal bench gave me inspiration for many a poem, for many philosophical thoughts. The ideal bench was a haven in difficult moments, and the statues of the park often lent an ear to my confessions. The bench is no longer a mere object, a spot where the passer by would stop to rest. It is now associated to the observation of the world and to the meaning of existence. Seated on the ideal bench, I started researching things and habits which I had never seen before. And some unfamiliar, new topics would cross my mind. I decided to share them with more people. After an entire year in search of the ideal bench, I came up with answers to many questions. The ideal bench became the omphalos of the earth.

In the late 1980s, Sven Lindqvist fell into conversation with an evangelical bodybuilder while relaxing in the sauna after his weekly swim. The conversation challenged Lindqvist's view of the sport as macho and vain and individualistic and led to his first attendance at the local gym. In Bench Press, Lindqvist takes us through his own journey in the gym, but also tells us the entertaining and bizarre history of bodybuilding and meditates on what its increased popularity tells us about contemporary society.

Musings Mutterings And Aw Shucks written by Elizabeth Carroll Foster and has been published by iUniverse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-11-10 with Fiction categories.

On a hotter than Hades evening in southwest Arkansas, a preacher arrives at a crossroad village to convince those gathered that if they follow the word of God, they will not have to experience the real heat of Hades. In a heap of sweaty flesh, Miss Elsie Waylock plops in the middle of a center-row bench, unaware that the bench is dangerously sagging and threatening to crack at any moment. It is what happens next that sends Jimmy Hickok into a fiery hell created by none other than his mother. In Musings, Mutterings, and Aw Shucks, author Elizabeth Carroll Foster shares an entertaining collection of short stories, essays, and features that highlight eclectic characters, embellish true experiences, and eloquently illustrate unconditional love, disappointment, and friendship. Divided into sections that comprise short stories followed by essays, Foster shares a poignant, occasionally witty compilation that allows others to reminisce about holidays gone by, sympathize with middle-aged women unwittingly caught up on the cusp of the Women’s Liberation Movement, empathize with young single mothers, and love a golden retriever just as he loves his master. Musings, Mutterings, and Aw Shucks provides an unforgettable glimpse into both imaginary and real-life worlds that share a timeless and fresh perspective on life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.
