This book is a written testament to the power of love, faith, hope, and strength. It details the life and death of a woman named Snowe (my mother) who came as close to being an angel as possible. And a veteran of WW II who fought in the war as a Navy man. He also fought the demon of mental illness, and eventually won both battles. He was my father Earl who is my hero. It also tells about their family life, too. They both were the generation who saved the world from the evil of Nazism and the tyrant called Hitler. And they also suffered through the Depression. Both, especially my mother, were Christians with a strong faith that helped them through difficulties and hardships, and gave them joy and love all during their lifetime. And now, their love is eternal. Even in death, it continues for each other and their loving Savior Jesus Christ and his Father.

This is an inspiring story about the life of Kristin Michelle Beaucher, how she touched thousands of lives, all of the pain and suffering she overcame, and how her faith in God only grew stronger. Losing her battle with cancer at the early age of nine never changed the person she was or made her lose sight of what she wanted to accomplish. Kristin was diagnosed with medduloblastoma (brain cancer) at the young age of two and a half. She dealt with more pain and suffering than many adults will endure in their entire life. Kristin overcame every obstacle in her path and every problem that came her way with a smile on her face and love pouring from her heart. Kristin was truly an angel, a gift from God himself, who changed the lives of everyone she met, sometimes without even saying a word. She gave when she had nothing left to give, and her legacy lives on through each and every one of us who had the honor of knowing her. “I have cancer so that I can be the one to prove to everybody that God can create miracles.” This is my daughter, and she gave her life to save mine. I promised Kristin that I would live every day as she did, to do my very best, and to make her as proud of me as I was of her. I know I will never be able to even come close, but Kristin never gave up. How in the world could I? Sweetie, you will always be my baby, my angel, and my hero!

Throughout the ages and stages of American history, grandmothers have been the guardians of the generations, the dispensers of wisdom, the instillers of pride and dignity, the conveyors of important religious values, the financial and emotional supporters of the family during times of need, and the promoters of cultural standards and traditions. From Maya Angelou to Martin Luther King Jr. to Oprah Winfrey, the success of many African Americans can be traced back to the love and support of a grandmother. Author Reginald E. Hicks is no exception. For Hicks, An Angel's View began as a labor of love to chronicle the life of his own beloved grandmother, from her birth on the family farm in rural New Kent County, Virginia in 1923; through her personal, social, and political trials and tribulations; to her quickly approaching eighty-ninth birthday. However, his humble commemoration eventually blossomed into an emotional story of love, betrayal, triumph, and tragedy embedded in a riveting and dynamic Southern history. Through this exceptional work, Hicks makes a unique and valuable contribution to his family and to the world of black literature.

A mother’s love is always for her children no matter how good or bad and she would do anything for her children either one or ten children, I always said the hardest job in the world is raising children from sun up to sun down or a woman’s job is never easy I think it’s time for men to stand up for the hard working women or men who raise God’s precious angels.

The death of your child breaks you. With some luck, you may be able to rebuild most of who you were before that loss so that you are not a complete stranger, even to yourself. Even then, you know that you will never be the same again. There will always be a piece of you missing, leaving you forever broken. With the loss of her son, Jeramie, to a car accident, author Daynabelle Anderson found this to be true of herself: a forever broken mom. She then had to decide whether to fight it and live her life, trying in vain to be whole again, only to punish herself over and over when her efforts resulted in failure. Or she could accept that this was who she was now--to allow herself to be broken and to forgive herself for it. She chose the latter, and now she chronicles her journey into that brokenness. This personal narrative offers one mother's story and her perspective on how to live with grief, intended for anyone who has lost a loved one and who feels pressured to move on.

Today is the day for you to make a choice to reconnect with your purpose, passion, and infinitive resource of energy. I wrote this book once I felt struggled because of fighting between following my passion and my purpose. My family is a reason for me to live in life. Seeing my family and people around me work hard, life is a struggle for them; I desire to help people to make a difference in life. Once I define my passion is to become a personal development trainer, writer, and social entrepreneur, I quit the engineering job. I had to overcome my feeling of against my family expectation as an engineer, live a stable life. After months, I found I just made an excuse. I could not use my reason for living become a reason for stopping doing what I am doing. I wrote this book to express my thankful to my reason for living. The book is to reconnect with my purpose, my infinitive resource of energy. The book is to reconnect with your purpose, your passion, your infinitive resource of energy. This book is purely written from the memory of my childhood. In the continuous complex world, we often forget to feel appreciated little things. Little things matter. Appreciate little things, better yourself every day and often reconnect with your purpose, your infinitive sources of energy and passion. That make you live meaningfully, love completely, and give joyfully to achieve more. Every moment of life.
