Faith means many things for people. This is a book about true faith and how it relates to everyday life. It is the opinion of this author that faith in the person of Jesus Christ is the only faith that provides hope for this life and life after death. Reading this book will challenge anyone to do more than you ever thought you could. This book will demonstrate how faith in the power of Jesus Christ and His Word can lead a man to lead his family on a journey across the country based on faith in the Word of God. Have you failed in life? See how God uses failure to accomplish His purpose and prove how He can cause all things to work together for good to those that love and trust Him. The Bible: Is it just some old outdated book written by a bunch of dead people? Can the Bible really act as a light and a lamp to our path? Does God really show us how to live by reading and obeying the Bible? If you choose to read this book, you'll see how the Bible is alive, how it speaks and leads one man on his journey. The greatest book ever written is on display throughout this book in a fun and practical way. Age is no excuse. This book covers over a forty-year time span and shows how God can and will use anyone at any age willing to follow and seek after Him. You will learn how faith will lead to faith and how God is still at work, leading this man to seek His God and do more than he ever thought possible.

In early 2016 I found myself laying in a hospital bed at the Royal Marsden in Fulham, diagnosed with terminal cancer, I decided to write about my faith in Christ; what it is and how it has been shaped and tested by a life that is lived out in the unpredictability of a world that can be so harsh and cruel. My starting point is to examine what sin is and what it does, paving the way for me to explain the necessity of salvation and what it does. I have made this my starting point because this is where faith begins. The fundamental message of the book is to acknowledge that, as a Christian, life can be filled with extreme pain, confusion and disillusionment and begs for meaningful answers to some very serious questions. The book takes an honest look at faith under the examination of someone who has experienced the safety of Christianity from childhood, yet along the way became one of the biggest sceptics of the Christianity that I saw around me. It was a scepticism that led me to the point of considering abandoning whatever faith I thought I had. This is a dilemma that I know a lot of Christians are tempted by and I hope that this book will give to them the encouragement, support and determination to press on. In this matter I attempt to examine what genuine faith is and what it is not, what it will do and what it will not do. I seek to highlight that the person with genuine faith must expect and be prepared for their faith to be tried and tested by God Himself and what His purpose in doing so is. The conclusion that the book as a whole alludes to, is that whilst there are times when faith does not seem to work, the faithfulness of what God has accomplished through Jesus Christ determines that faith always works.

We do not have to wait until we get to heaven to obtain what Christ did for us.It is ours now, and we may enjoy it now! If we live a life of weakness and defeat, it is because we do not realize our inheritance in Jesus Christ. Until we know who we are in Christ, we cannot live victorious lives in Him, as the Word teaches us. Instead of Jesus being our Master, satan, sin and sickness will be our masters. The instant that you find out that you are the Righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 5: 21), satan is defeated. (2 Tim. 1: 9, St. John 10: 10, 1 Jn. 5: 5, KJV) tells us that, "We have been called, by God to live an abundant, holy and victorious life in Jesus Christ." Therefore, if we are Righteous, we are healed; we only need to realize that our healing was purchased on the cross. The Word says that when Jesus arose from the dead, He arose with all power in His hands - He arose with nothing missing and nothing broken. Yes, He had the scars from the nails in His hands, and He had the scar from being pierced in His side, but He was complete and He was whole. This is not only a book on physical healing because God wants us healed in every area of our life. This book deals with teaching one how to have faith to be healed according to the Word of God, and how that healing can be manifested into wholeness, which is God's desire for us. If you are broken or suffering in any way, it is God's will for you to be healed and made whole. I pray that the anointing on this book, according to the Word of God will enlighten you, strengthen you, embolden you, and cause you to rise up and claim who you are in Jesus Christ!

The astonishing, Job-like story of how an existence filled with loss, suffering, questioning, and anger became a life filled with shocking and incomprehensible peace and joy. Vaneetha Risner contracted polio as an infant, was misdiagnosed, and lived with widespread paralysis. She lived in and out of the hospital for ten years and, after each stay, would return to a life filled with bullying. When she became a Christian, though, she thought things would get easier, and they did: carefree college days, a dream job in Boston, and an MBA from Stanford where she met and married a classmate. But life unraveled. Again. She had four miscarriages. Her son died because of a doctor's mistake. And Vaneetha was diagnosed with post-polio syndrome, meaning she would likely become a quadriplegic. And then her husband betrayed her and moved out, leaving her to raise two adolescent daughters alone. This was not the abundant life she thought God had promised her. But, as Vaneetha discovered, everything she experienced was designed to draw her closer to Christ as she discovered "that intimacy with God in suffering can be breathtakingly beautiful."

No More Faking Fine written by Esther Fleece Allen and has been published by Zondervan this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-01-10 with Religion categories.

Scripture reveals a God who meets us where we are, not where we pretend to be. No More Faking Fine is your invitation to get honest with God through the life-giving language of lament. If you've ever been given empty clichés during challenging times, you know how painful it is to be misunderstood by well-meaning people. When life hurts, we often feel pressure--from others and ourselves--to keep it together, suck it up, or pray it away. But Scripture reveals a God who lovingly invites us to give honest voice to our emotions when life hits hard. For most of her life, Esther Fleece Allen believed she could bypass the painful emotions of her broken past by shutting them down altogether. She was known as an achiever and an overcomer on the fast track to success. But in silencing her pain, she robbed herself of the opportunity to be healed. Maybe you've done the same. Esther's journey into healing began when she discovered that God has given us a real-world way to deal with raw emotions and an alternative to the coping mechanisms that end up causing more pain. It's called lament--the gut-level, honest prayer that God never ignores, never silences, and never wastes. No More Faking Fine is your permission to lament, taking you on a journey down the unexpected pathway to true intimacy with God. Drawing from careful biblical study and hard-won insight, Esther reveals how to use God's own language to come closer to him as he leads us through our pain to the light on the other side, teaching you that: We are robbing ourselves of a divine mystery and a divine intimacy when we pretend to have it all together God does not expect us to be perfect; instead, he meets us where we are There is hope beyond your heartache, disappointment, and grief Like Esther, you'll soon find that when one person stops faking fine, it gives everyone else permission to do the same.
