The American Dream--most think this is quite elusive. But there are real people who rose above whatever challenges there is and achieve the dream, which to many, just fizzles away with the clouds. Bobby Henley is a son of sharecropper who quit school on his sixth grade because he was ridiculed for being poor. But he is one kid with a dream. For him, life could offer him something better than what their family is scarcely getting. Now in his sixties, Bobby is worth two million dollars. He owns a mobile home moving company, a house, a hundred-acre farm, and rental properties. How did it happen? This man's story is about his journey as a hardworking employee and businessman whose impeccable character is well-known among his peers and clients, and whose stand for what is right took to him to Arkansas' state capital to ask senators to repeal a fifty-year-old state law that prevented small mobile home moving companies from making business in their home state. This husband and father, who instilled in his children a working ethic that helped them through their lives, will show that any roadblock to one's success can be overcome if anybody has a will to carry on with that dream. "Why would I want to quit?" he will say.

If Dr. Spector asks, "What are you willing to do?" you say without hesitation, "Anything." A renowned Boston therapist quits his practice to travel across the country to live for three months with families who have mental health issues. If he selects your families, be sure that you experience his brand of in-your-face conditioning with off-the-wall professionalism that leads to several hilarious yet provocative interventions, not to forget his very candid viewpoint. After four years of hardship, this changed man selfishly selects a family, the Neads, who live behind the green door in a very descriptive brownstone with too many secrets. When therapy failed, a grave circumstance ensued throughout the neighborhood, causing family friction. Hoping for an alternative solution, a hospital psychiatrist with a kind heart tells the mother about an unorthodox treatment plan performed by an out-of-the-box psychiatrist. Enter the Traveling Therapist. Weeks later, he arrives, parking on the street filled with neighbors who stare at this strange man getting out of his high-priced car. With a sense of belonging, he smiles and waves, then makes his way to the residence with a "tell, not ask" policy. Confused and bored at first to sit through his lectures of mental illness with his cut-to-the-chase style and constant reminders that he will not depart until satisfied. Confronted with a difficult decision, the family finally unites to make life-altering choices.

Body Language written by Constance Studer and has been published by Purdue University Press this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2009 with Convalescence categories.

Constance Studer uses her family's story to illustrate larger ethical dilemmas in which modem medical professionals find themselves. The history of why prefrontal lobotomies were performed on patients is explored, and why only a few physicians raised dissenting voices to this mutilating surgery. Both the author and her father were injured by medical treatments that were intended to help. Her father's lobotomy caused irreversible brain damage. Connie's vaccine-related illness caused systemic lupus. She cites an article by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. that investigates our government cover-up of a mercury/autism scandal. Thimerosal, the ethylmercury preservative used in vaccine preparation, appears to be responsible for the epidemic of autism and other neurological disorders among our children. In 2007, one child out of 150 suffers from autism or other neurological-cognitive disabilities. This book is a plea to the medical-pharmaceutical-government complex to ban the use of thimerosal in the production of vaccines and to re-evaluate the number of vaccines administered to infants and children.
