Success is in the blood. There are men and women whom fate can never keep down they march forward in a jaunty manner, and take by divine right the best of everything that the earth affords them. But their success is not attained by means of share chance. They do not lie in wait, nor scheme, nor fawn, nor seek to adapt their sails to catch the breeze of popular favour. Instead, they are ever alert and alive to any good that may come their way, and when it comes they simply appropriate it, and tarrying not, move steadily onwards. For years my wife and I have been involved in helping people from a variety of backgrounds along their individual spiritual paths, our hearts have always throbbed with a passion to see people become the best them they can be.

Learning to Love what Father Loves Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain—some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much, and some thirty (Matthew 13:8 AMP). Nourishing the Seed is the result of well-known Bible teacher and author Bob Mumford’s spiritual walk with the Lord. You will come alongside his unfolding journey over the past 55 years of learning to love what God loves. Like his book Mysterious Seed—Maturing in Father’s Love, he passes along to you the bag of seed that the Father gave him. The DNA of the acorn enables it to become all that God the Father intended: a huge, symmetrical, and fully formed oak tree. Father’s Seed in you comes to maturity in the same way. Nourishing the Seed helps you: Understand Agape love as the mysterious Kingdom Seed that must be cultivated and nourished to grow and produce fruit in your life. Address the issues that keep that nourishment from happening. Thoughts and Questions at the end of each chapter provoke deep and inspiring introspection to form a more meaningful relationship with God the Father. Helpful diagrams and charts throughout also add depth of understanding. Nourishing the Seed is a compilation of powerful, daily, devotional-size teachings designed to move you spiritually forward. Rather than vague concepts and principles, these teachings will nourish the Seed that is growing within you—the serious believer—so that you can be unshakable and learn to love what Father loves.

My Journey To Rediscover Relationships written by Johnie Hinson and has been published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc. this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-01-12 with Religion categories.
Johnie Hinson's journey to rediscover relationships took him to a new level in his understanding of relationship dynamics. The Lord opened a door of opportunity allowing Johnie to glean precious knowledge about the greatest gift He gave to humanity. The Lord's revelations provided keen insight into how He views relationships and His expectations of how Johnie should approach them. The first revelation or divine insight Johnie discusses in his book reveals the significance of our connections. "Life is all about relationships, and relationships are all about life." Johnie discovered that nothing in life promotes greater satisfaction than meaningful connections with family, friends, and the Lord who made life possible. As a result, Johnie chose to make his relationships a priority. Johnie's journey also provided him with a greater understanding of marriage and his role in the home. He learned that marriage isn't a contract between a man and a woman but a covenant designed to connect them in a lifelong union. Johnie is constantly reminded by the Lord that "Your marriage isn't about you, it's about what you promised in your vows." Although a painful reality, the author is learning that fulfilling his promise to his wife, Rene, is the only way to make their house a home. Johnie chose to become her husband, now he chooses to fulfill his responsibilities. Johnie is convinced that life is a journey, and if he intends to enjoy the ride, vertical and horizontal connections will play a significant role. As a minister serving the Lord for 47 years and traveling around the globe, I can attest that everything rises and falls on relationships. As a minister, military officer, husband and father, Johnie Hinson's story can teach us a lifetime of lessons about relationships that we can all learn from. I highly recommend this book to you. Rev. "Inspiring, thoughtful, and beautiful." --BRYAN STEVENSON "A tender reminder and spacious invitation." -- FATHER GREGORY BOYLE "Liz Walker accomplishes a difficult literary and theological balance with stunning clarity." --OTIS MOSS III An extraordinary account of a Black church that decided to give neighbors a space to share their grief, No One Left Alone provides a blueprint premised on a simple truth: the wounded heal best together. As the first Black woman to anchor the Boston-area evening news, Liz Walker found herself in an industry that defined the neighborhood of Roxbury largely by violence. But when she became a pastor there, Walker grew close to households marked not only by trauma but by courage--including the family of Cory Johnson, a young father who was murdered. In the wake of their worst nightmare, the family reached out for help. As Walker's congregation invited neighbors to gather, they created soft spaces for others' grief to land. There, in the stories told, the meals shared, the tears shed, and the silences kept, people found a space to receive their sorrow. Out of this ministry grew a grassroots trauma-healing program, one now being replicated across the country. Through this groundbreaking book, begin to imagine what story-sharing groups might look like in your context. Face the disparity of grief that comes from racism and systemic inequality, and learn to confront legacies of harm. Discover the healing power of listening, as well as the art and skills of accompanying someone in pain. Further, grasp how caregivers, pastors, counselors, and other healers--many with their own wounds--can benefit from soft spaces too. Marked by history and surrounded by violence and loneliness, we all long for healing. In the tradition of esteemed writers like Bryan Stevenson and Cole Arthur Riley, Walker writes about how community helps us transfigure trauma. There is nothing dramatic about listening to someone's story or sharing our own. But there is mystery here, and sacredness. No one has to be left alone.
