La potenza della bellezza è qualcosa di grande luminoso, ma anche tenebroso, oscuro in un continuo rapporto tra Apollo e Dioniso, elevazione ed ottundimento della mente. In questo rapporto ambiguo che ferisce ma al contempo consola ed eleva verso il cielo e lo spirituale, vi è la forza ultima della bellezza. Vi sono tuttavia epoche come l'attuale dove la bellezza viene talvolta appiattita sulla banalità, se non sulla volgarità, un incolore che la riduce alla superficiale percezione esterna, in una perdita di senso del soggetto. Nell'involgarimento vi è il suo svuotamento, ossia la riduzione al puro aspetto materiale del consumo, dove si perde la sua capacità di elevare l'anima al mistero della divinità, all'intuizione dell'assoluto, la parola perde la sua forza creativa. CON LA PREFAZIONE DI ALESSANDRO QUASIMODO Sergio Benedetto Sabetta Laureato in Giurisprudenza presso l'Università di Genova nell'A.A. 1982-83, è Cancelliere presso la Pretura di Aulla in Lunigiana e funzionario presso la Corte dei conti di Genova. Ha conseguito molte specializzazioni in materia di diritto ed economia, letteratura, storia e filosofia. È Tenente di complemento presso il I Gr.A.Pe. – III Brigata Missili “Aquileiae” consulente in ambito amministrativo-direzionale per enti pubblici e aziende. Collabora con diverse riviste on-line in materie giuridiche e storiche, cultore di materie storiche e letterarie fin dal Liceo.
