Markland, a native of Jamaica, has been in the ministry for over 36 years as a Spirit-filled evangelist, pastor, and Bible teacher. He is a graduate of Bethel Bible College (1975), Zion Bible Institute (1978), and at Southwestern Assembly of God College, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in 1979. He attended Oral Roberts University Graduate School of Theology and Seminary in 1980-1981. There he became a graduate assistant, teaching Old and New Testament Survey courses with Drs.
