Valeria Castellani, nata a Jesolo nel 1974 e cresciuta a Vicenza, si laurea in Giurisprudenza all’Università degli Studi di Bologna. Inizia subito dopo un percorso professionale insolito, che la conduce prima ad approfondire le tematiche legali del mondo aziendale, poi a scoprire cosa c’è fuori dal mondo ovattato in cui vive. Dal 2002 sceglie incarichi in Afghanistan, Angola e Iraq, dove la sua carriera svolta verso il mondo della security operativa tra ONG e US Department of Defense e dove si confronta con quella che è stata chiamata War on Terror – Guerra al terrorismo. Rientrata con difficoltà nel mondo civile dal quale si era staccata, si dedica alla security aziendale, dove ha ricoperto e ricopre tutt’oggi il ruolo di security manager per multinazionali nel mondo del lusso.
