Non Linear Cooperative Effects In Open Quantum Systems written by Nicolae A. Enaki and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2016 with SCIENCE categories.

This monograph, Non-linear Cooperative Effects in Open Quantum Systems: Entanglement and Second Order Coherence is dedicated to the large auditory of specialists interested in the modern approaches in quantum open systems, cooperative phenomena between excited atoms and the field of the non-linear interaction. Special attention is dedicated to the problems of non-linear interaction with vacuum fields and thermostat with finite temperature, but quantum aspects of laser generation of light in non-linear interaction with finite numbers of cavity modes remain the center of attention. In many situations, the limit to the traditional cooperative phenomena of open quantum systems and thermodynamics are taken into consideration. As the book contains the class of non-linear effects of generations of the particle in such cooperative phenomena, the author's aim was to describe squeezed problems and affect entanglement between the generation photons and phonons in cooperative processes. The new phenomenon of cooperative emission in the single- and two-quantum processes are carefully described for large audiences of specialists in the field of quantum optics and condensed matter physics, chemistry and biology.

Emerging Frontiers In Nonlinear Science written by Panayotis G. Kevrekidis and has been published by Springer Nature this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2020-05-29 with Science categories.

This book explores the impact of nonlinearity on a broad range of areas, including time-honored fields such as biology, geometry, and topology, but also modern ones such as quantum mechanics, networks, metamaterials and artificial intelligence. The concept of nonlinearity is a universal feature in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, and is used to characterize systems whose behavior does not amount to a superposition of simple building blocks, but rather features complex and often chaotic patterns and phenomena. Each chapter of the book features a synopsis that not only recaps the recent progress in each field but also charts the challenges that lie ahead. This interdisciplinary book presents contributions from a diverse group of experts from various fields to provide an overview of each field’s past, present and future. It will appeal to both beginners and seasoned researchers in nonlinear science, numerous areas of physics (optics, quantum physics, biophysics), and applied mathematics (ODEs, PDEs, dynamical systems, machine learning) as well as engineering.

This book is an adaptation of a thesis draft worked out by one of us (VC). In this book, we outlined some new findings in nonlinear collective dynamics associated with psychosynthesis, socio-economics modelling and cosmology theorizing. Hopefully, this study will enable new insights in these fields derived from collective phenomena study.

Quantum Triangulations written by Mauro Carfora and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2017-11-27 with Science categories.

This book discusses key conceptual aspects and explores the connection between triangulated manifolds and quantum physics, using a set of case studies ranging from moduli space theory to quantum computing to provide an accessible introduction to this topic. Research on polyhedral manifolds often reveals unexpected connections between very distinct aspects of mathematics and physics. In particular, triangulated manifolds play an important role in settings such as Riemann moduli space theory, strings and quantum gravity, topological quantum field theory, condensed matter physics, critical phenomena and complex systems. Not only do they provide a natural discrete analogue to the smooth manifolds on which physical theories are typically formulated, but their appearance is also often a consequence of an underlying structure that naturally calls into play non-trivial aspects of representation theory, complex analysis and topology in a way that makes the basic geometric structures of the physical interactions involved clear. This second edition further emphasizes the essential role that triangulations play in modern mathematical physics, with a new and highly detailed chapter on the geometry of the dilatonic non-linear sigma model and its subtle and many-faceted connection with Ricci flow theory. This connection is treated in depth, pinpointing both the mathematical and physical aspects of the perturbative embedding of the Ricci flow in the renormalization group flow of non-linear sigma models. The geometry of the dilaton field is discussed from a novel standpoint by using polyhedral manifolds and Riemannian metric measure spaces, emphasizing their role in connecting non-linear sigma models’ effective action to Perelman’s energy-functional. No other published account of this matter is so detailed and informative. This new edition also features an expanded appendix on Riemannian geometry, and a rich set of new illustrations to help the reader grasp the more difficult points of the theory. The book offers a valuable guide for all mathematicians and theoretical physicists working in the field of quantum geometry and its applications.

Fluctuating Nonlinear Oscillators written by Mark Dykman and has been published by OUP Oxford this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-07-26 with Science categories.

The book provides a unifying insight into fluctuation phenomena in a broad variety of vibrational systems of current interest. It consists of individual chapters written by leading experts in the field. The chapters are self-contained and complement each other. The ongoing rapid development of well-characterized mesoscopic vibrational systems has made it possible to address fundamental physics problems and to explore new approaches to quantum and classical measurements, with applications to quantum information, condensed matter physics, and engineering. The book gives an account of major results in this direction. The topics include dynamics and quantum control of microcavity modes coupled to qubits, measurements with bifurcation-based amplifiers and new types of such amplifiers; switching rate scaling and new quantum mechanisms of metastable decay; wave mixing and parametric excitation in the quantum regime; collective phenomena and the interaction-induced discrete time symmetry breaking; and back-action and shot noise in electron-vibrational systems.

This volume is dedicated to Prof. Hiroomi Umezawa to honour of his retirement from the Killam Memorial Chair of Theoretical Physics at the University of Alberta. It is intended to summarize the contents of a Conference held at Perugia from May 28 to May 31 1992 aimed at bringing together researchers whose activity has been in close touch with the many topics addressed by Prof. Umezawa in his long scientific career. This book is a collection of invited papers on Field Theory and its many applications to describe collective properties of physical systems. The topics range from Condensed Matter Physics to General Relativity. It contains review papers by leading experts on: Finite Temperature Field Theory, Nonequilibrium Field Theory, Gauge Theories, General Relativity, Nonlinear Equations and Complex Systems. The conference occurred at a time of searching for new ways to use the unifying views of modern field theory to provide explanatory paradigms for a wide variety of phenomena. The book is a timely effort in this direction. The contents of the book will be appreciated by a readership fascinated by both the versatility and the rigorous structure of Quantum Field Theory.

The reports in these proceedings cover several aspects related to the creation, manipulation and transport of intense charged particle beams. The Group on Single Particle Nonlinear Dynamics discussed issues relevant to particle accelerators and to the problems of storing charged particles in a circular accelerator for a very long time. The Group on Creation and Manipulation of High Phase Density Beams discussed topics relevant to the production, transport and monitoring of high brightness beams, including radiation emitted from free-electron lasers. The Group on Physics of, and Physics with, High Energy Density Beams covered some aspects of the physics that can be studied with photon and particle beams and on the physics of particle beams. This group attracted contributions from different concepts and utilizations of intense beams.

In recent years nonlinear and irreversible quantum mechanics is becoming increasingly important because of the availability of precision experiments. There are new and successful attempts to understand quantum irreversibility. The development of generalized symmetries has to led to new families of evolution equations for pure and mixed states. On the one hand, this timely symposium covers nonlinear and irreversible quantum mechanics, the theory of quantization methods, causality and various problems important in this context. On the other hand, it reports the development of quantum group symmetries, and of methods to construct deformed quantum mechanical evolution equations like the q-deformed Schrödinger equations.
