Entre os diversos problemas ambientais, vivenciados atualmente nos municípios, o transporte coletivo tem sido alvo de discussões devido ao combustível predominante, o diesel, que além de escasso e finito, contribui para a poluição atmosférica e agravamentos na saúde da população. Nesse contexto, foi objetivo deste trabalho estudar os aspectos técnicos e econômicos da substituição de ônibus movidos a diesel por ônibus elétricos a bateria no transporte coletivo municipal, com o objetivo de subsidiar ações e políticas públicas direcionadas a reduzir a carga de emissões atmosféricas envolvidas no atual sistema de transporte coletivo predominante na maior parte dos municípios brasileiros. O estudo buscou evidenciar as principais tecnologias de tração/motorização empregadas atualmente nos ônibus, com destaque para a tecnologia dos ônibus elétricos a bateria (plug-in) no contexto nacional e internacional, detalhando os casos de Istambul - Turquia, Califórnia - EUA, e dois casos brasileiros, nos municípios de São Paulo - SP e Campinas - SP, ambos identificados na literatura. Após a contextualização dos casos, o estudo avança para uma comparação técnico-econômica, considerando as diversas variáveis evidenciadas, objetivando o levantamento de custos nos aspectos mais significativos, tais como: Custo Total de Propriedade (TCO), que envolvem os custos de: aquisição, de infraestrutura, de manutenção e de operação, no âmbito da comparação com a tecnologia diesel.

A situação do idoso na sociedade da informação pode ser de vulnerabilidade social, o que pode ocasionar a questão da exclusão digital. Com isso, faz-se necessária a apropriação de competências em informação, pois, enquanto conjunto de habilidades, conhecimentos, atitudes e valores relacionados com a informação, pode ser um instrumento transformador da realidade social do idoso. Este estudo busca explorar a apropriação das competências no uso de tecnologias digitais pelos idosos por meio da metodologia de gamificação e recursos digitais. Como metodologia, a caracterização da pesquisa foi indutiva, aplicada, exploratória e qualitativa. Os procedimentos do estudo foram bibliográficos e documentais. Foi desenvolvida uma aplicação com a metodologia de gamificação com a intenção de transformar a tarefa de ensinar e aprender em algo mais lúdico, fazendo com que os idosos tenham prazer em usar as tecnologias. O estudo de caso em questão foi analisado de forma qualitativa com apresentação dos resultados após a realização de entrevistas, e, assim, perceber possíveis percepções positivas sobre a opinião do curso, conforme os perfis cognitivos de cada idoso visando o direcionamento para a escolha correta da metodologia aplicada nos próximos cursos que serão ministrados no IFMG – campus SJE.
