This narrow width combined with the quantum numbers of the final state imply that the decay is isospin-violating. The state has natural spin-parity, and its low mass suggests a J[sup P] = 0[sup +] assignment.

A preliminary analysis of an experiment designed as a sensitive dibaryon resonance search in the reaction pp.-->.p.pi.n is presented. At 2 GeV/c incident momentum, 440,000 unambiguously reconstructed events were obtained. In this preliminary analysis, the results are reported of a search of the pn mass spectrum for evidence of chain decays of possible dibaryon resonances, i.e. pp.-->.d/sup **/, d/sup **/.-->.d/sup **/.pi./sup +/, d/sup */.-->.pn. No evidence of narrow peaks (less than or equal to 7 MeV) is seen in the data for cross-section-times-branching-ratio greater than 50 .mu.b.

Preliminary mass estimates of [2318.9 [+-] 0.3 (stat.) [+-] 0.9 (syst.)] MeV/c[sup 2] and [2459.4 [+-] 0.3 (stat.) [+-] 1.0 (syst.)] MeV/c[sup 2] are obtained. Searches are performed for the decay to the D[sub s][sup +] meson along with one or more [pi][sup 0], [pi][sup +], or [gamma] particles. A search is also performed for neutral and doubly-charged partners.

The authors performed a search for the D[sub sJ]*(2632)[sup +] state recently reported by the SELEX Collaboration at FNAL. This preliminary analysis makes use of an integrated luminosity of 125 fb[sup -1] collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e[sup +]e[sup -] collider. The resulting D[sub s][sup +][eta] and D[sup 0]K[sup +] mass spectra show no evidence for the D[sub sJ]*(2632)[sup +] state. In addiition, no signal is observed in the D*[sup +] K[sub S] mass spectrum.

The {Xi}(1690){sup 0} resonance is observed in the {Lambda}{bar K}{sup 0} channel in the decay {Lambda}{sub c}{sup +} {yields} {Lambda}{bar K}{sup 0}K{sup +}, from a data sample corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of {approx} 200 fb{sup -1} recorded by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider operating at {approx} 10.58 GeV and {approx} 10.54 GeV center-of-mass energies. A fit to the Dalitz plot intensity distribution corresponding to the coherent superposition of amplitudes describing {Lambda}a{sub 0}(980){sup +} and {Xi}(1690){sup 0} K{sup +} production yields mass and width values of 1684.7 {+-} 1.3(stat.){sub -1.6}{sup +2.2}(syst.) MeV/c{sup 2}, and 8.1{sub -3.5}{sup +3.9}(stat.){sub -0.9}{sup +1.0}(syst.) MeV, respectively, for the {Xi}(1690){sup 0}, while the spin is found to be consistent with value of 1/2 on the basis of studies of the ({Lambda}K{sub S}) angular distribution.

Evidence is presented for two J[sup p] = 2[minus] strange mesons; one at [approx] 1.77 and the other at [approx] 1.82 GeV/c[sup 2]. These states have been observed in a partial wave analysis of the K[sup [minus]][omega] system in the reaction K[sup [minus]]p [yields] K[sup [minus]][pi]+[pi][sup [minus]][pi][sup 0]p where the strange mesons decay into K[sup [minus]][omega] and the [omega] then decays to [pi]+[pi][sup [minus]][pi][sup 0]. The data set contains [approx] 10[sup 5] K[sup [minus]][omega]p events at 11 GeV/c taken with the LASS spectrometer at SLAC.
