Colaboran en ella numerosos autores, todos ellos expertos, coordinados por los profesores Idurre Lazcano Quintana y Ángel De-Juanas Oliva, miembros de la red de equipos de investigación Ociogune. La obra se estructura en tres grandes ejes que vertebran el libro y que dan respuesta a las siguientes preguntas: ¿cuáles son las construcciones y desarrollo del ocio durante la juventud?, ¿qué acciones socioeducativas pueden llevarse a cabo desde el ocio para favorecer la inclusión social? y, finalmente, ¿qué aspectos convierten al ocio en un espacio para la participación comunitaria y el empoderamiento durante la juventud? En definitiva, este libro ofrece una panorámica amplia sobre la condición del ocio en el tránsito a la vida adulta, desde planteamientos científicos y desde la complejidad de múltiples disciplinas y puntos de vista; algo que desde hace años llevan realizando los autores de esta obra.

Close to three hundred stores and supermarkets were looted during week-long food riots in Argentina in December 2001. Thirty-four people were reported dead and hundreds were injured. Among the looting crowds, activists from the Peronist party (the main political party in the country) were quite prominent. During the lootings, police officers were conspicuously absent - particularly when small stores were sacked. Through a combination of archival research, statistical analysis, multi-sited fieldwork, and taking heed of the perspective of contentious politics, this book provides an analytic description of the origins, course, meanings, and outcomes of the December 2001 wave of lootings in Argentina.
