Une rencontre impossible arrivée par un coup de dés : deux pierres angulaires musicales – dont l'une disparue – des années 1980 1990 posées l'une à côté de l'autre pour raviver une présence et conjurer une longue absence : L'Invitation au suicide de Yann Farcy et Sordide Sentimental de Jean Pierre Turmel – comme une épitaphe réjouissante et l'apparition de quelques souvenirs lointains – qui parleront peut-être à peu, justement. Deux albums fétiches chez l'un : Loin de la plage des Provisoires (album abrasif, cru et spectral sans équivalent) et Catastrophe Ballet de Christian Death (second album cathédrale et bancal, mais recelant « The Blue Hour » - petit joyau en forme de madeleine personnelle) et chez l'autre l'impertinence et la suprême classe de sortir des disques de Joy Division, Psychic TV et Monte Cazazza entre autres et ce dans le chant de ruines de la production française de l'époque. Par le truchement de Pierre-Yves Cachard et Thierry Weyd, quelques insistances : les entendre nous parler depuis le purgatoire des temps modernes... À côté de Présence Panchounette, IFP... Vaste cimetière que ce numéro. Quelques vivants, heureusement ! Hubert Renard et Nathalie Leleu, Nicolas Boulard, Caroline Delieutraz, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Olivier Quintyn... Un dossier spécial autour de l'exposition que nous avons organisée l'année dernière à Genève : comme un poing levé. On n'est jamais mieux servi que par soi-même surtout quand l'événement était aussi furtif qu'impossible – pris dans les grèves et un calendrier serré. On en a profité alors pour échanger avec Alexandre Bianchini et Cocoon – dont nous sortons un superbe vinyle, intitulé comme une sentence définitive : You've arrived. Cultiver l'entre-soi avec plaisir. Ce numéro aurait dû sortir en septembre 2018, puis en novembre, puis en décembre... Ce sera finalement en 2019. Une envie de laisser un peu reposer... Prendre son temps dans un contexte où l'art n'a jamais été aussi éteint et muet. Incapable de quitter l'art ou ce qui est montré de l'art, ou ce qui est vendu comme de l'art. On a pensé jaune : de notre trahison et à l'impuissance à agir sur les ronds points autrement que par l'envie de détruire les quelques sculptures de mauvais goût qui nous rappellent avec violence combien l'art a perdu son projet émancipateur et gagné en inutilité. Combien aux yeux de beaucoup il n'est devenu qu'un décor à mondanités ou quelques chiffres bien alignés sur les écrans des salle de ventes, nouvelle salle des marchés. Le brouillard s'est dissipé. Pas le souvenir des violences policières et la manière dont a voulu nous isoler, nous séparer les uns des autres : corps social distendu jusqu'à se briser. Nous évoquions dans notre précédent numéro l'émiettement des luttes. Encore ici. Des plaques de contreplaqué pour protéger les devantures des boutiques, banques, assurances, etc. Comme pour la première maison des Trois petits cochons que le loup souffle en une expiration. Mais déjà celle en bois et celle en briques... Comme des rues vidées des enseignes, logos, publicités – rendues abstraites, nettoyées – avant un ouragan qui ne vient pas. Quelques mois plus tard, les cadres et structures sont encore là, prêtes à être recouvertes... Au cas où... Au cas où...
