Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 1,3, Universität Witten/Herdecke (Institut für Familienunternehmen), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: „Wissensmanagement ist eine durch Kommunikation über selektive Befunde geschaffene Notwendigkeit, der sich Unternehmen schon allein deshalb nicht entziehen können, weil ihre Bezugssysteme (Konkurrenten, Kunden, Lieferanten, staatliche Vergabestellen und so weiter) ebenfalls auf diese Notwendigkeit reagieren und sie dadurch mit-konstruieren.“ Das ist natürlich eine Möglichkeit, die Motivation zu erklären, sich in einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit mit dem Thema Wissensmanagement auseinanderzusetzen. Allerdings gibt es außer der Begründung, dass alle es machen, noch vielfältige weitere Gründe, die es nahe legen, Wissensmanagement in der Theorie zu untersuchen, und hierbei mit anderen Beobachtungsinstrumenten zu arbeiten, als dies in vielen klassischen Arbeiten zum Thema getan wird. Grundsätzlich ist hier jedoch festzuhalten, dass Wissensmanagement oder organisationales Lernen nicht als Selbstzweck betrachtet werden soll. Alle folgenden Bemühungen, Wissensmanagement und seine organisationalen Voraussetzungen erklärbarer zu machen, sind daher immer geprägt von dem Ziel, die Organisation oder das Unternehmen langfristig überlebensfähig zu gestalten. Dies steht gleichsam als Metaziel hinter allen folgenden Überlegungen. Wissensmanagement ist in aller Munde. Kaum ein Thema hat die Managementliteratur so beschäftigt wie die Möglichkeiten, die ein Unternehmen und seine Organisation befähigen, mit Wissen und Lernen so umzugehen, dass es zu einer Steigerung der Überlebensfähigkeit für die Organisationen maßgeblich beiträgt. Die beiden Konzepte Wissensmanagement und lernende Organisation, die in dieser Arbeit als zueinander gehörig betrachtet werden, haben sich zu einem zentralen Mittel herauskristallisiert, das einem Unternehmen einen strategischen Wettbewerbsvorteil verschaffen kann. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Modethemen in der Managementlehre, die nach einigen Jahren wieder von der Agenda von Unternehmen verschwinden (zum Beispiel Business Process Reengineering), hat sich Wissensmanagement langfristig als ein „Must-Have“ für Unternehmen herauskristallisiert, das es umzusetzen gilt, wenn man als wettbewerbsfähig im Organisationsumfeld bestehen möchte.

The results indicate that social media marketing is generally covered from a cultural point of view. Moreover, the insights provide valuable knowledge from both consumers research perspective and from applied social media practices in multicultural settings. However, the findings also reveal extant research gaps in several directions that need to be addressed in the near future to provide theoretical approaches and scientifically proven evidence on successful utilization of social media marketing in multicultural settings. The fact that social media plays an extremely important component in the worldwide dynamic technology development is an irrefutable fact.
