Could a Dramatic Shift In The Way The World Economy is Structured Make You Rich? How A Smarter Free Economics System Could Enrich All Individuals While Bringing Great Wealth to Nations. "Billions of people could have better lives if Tudela's principles were implemented." -Michael Strong, co-founder of Conscious Capitalism, lead author of Be the Solution: How Entrepreneurs and Conscious Capitalists Can Solve All the World's Problems. "An essential book that every politician and every businessman should read as soon as possible. It is an instant classic." -Guy Milliere, Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Gatestone Institute, New York. If you have ever asked yourself why some countries are wealthier than others, you'll find the final answer in A More Prosperous Planet, The New Formula for a Prosperous Global Economy. This book explains the simple formula along with the three vital elements that must be present for a nation to become wealthy, and why they must also be present for you to attain prosperity. Throughout the book, the reader is treated to a grand historical analysis where cause and effect are easy to spot. The result is an eye opening discovery that creates a profound understanding of the meaning of freedom, the current conditions of societies, and the path to more enlightened and robust economies. Readers will learn about: -The hidden driver of economic history and social revolutions: the force behind personal and entrepreneurial wealth creation success. -Why third-world countries, contrary to appearances, are today more backwards than 17th century England, and what could easily be done- to put them on the road to prosperity, growth, and success. -Why, perhaps most shockingly, a growing gap between the rich and the poor is needed for a country or an individual to grow and prosper. -What politicians don't want people to know about elections, votes, and the political process, and how it affects you. -The IMF, the World Bank, and the death of money: what should be known about them to protect and increase individual wealth. -Bitcoin, digital currencies, and the new world economics. -The simple formula for the wealth of countries and for your own prosperity.

* Further substantial climate change is unavoidable and the risks to the natural world, the economy and our everyday lives are immense. The way we live in the next thirty years - how we invest, use energy, organise transport and treat forests - will determine whether these risks become realities. * Although poor countries - the least responsible for climate change - will be hit earliest and hardest, all countries must adapt to the effects: hurricanes and storms strike New Orleans and Mumbai; flooding causes devastation in England and Mozambique; droughts occur in Australia and Darfur; and sea level rise will affect Florida and Bangladesh. * Lord Stern, author of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change and former Chief Economist at the World Bank, is the world's leading authority on what we can do in the face of such unprecedented threat. Action on climate change will require the greatest possible international collaboration, but if successful will ensure not just our future, but our future prosperity. * Focusing on the economic management of investment and growth from the perspective of both adaptation and mitigation, Stern confronts the most urgent questions facing us now: what is the problem? What are the dangers? What can be done to reduce emissions, at what cost? How can the world adapt? And what does all this mean for corporations, governments and individuals? * A Blueprint for a Safer Planet provides authoritative, inspirational, and hopeful, answers.

The writing of this book was both a spiritual and intellectual journey. It took more than ten years to complete while having to be revised and updated constantly. This is no-holds-barred literature where the author says what he means and means what he says! He does not mintz his words. The Conscious Planet thinks outside the box and breaks all the rules of traditional thinking. Sometimes this information can be brutally honest or painfully real. This author is not trying to win any popularity contest. He tells it like it really is and doesnt care what anyone thinks! The Conscious Planet is what the government and big corporations who control it dont want you to know! It is the truth about the truth and nothing but the truth, so help me ! In the modern world, people only know what multinational corporations want them to know, not what they should know! And it is this tainted knowledge which is creating a society of pathetic drones, who like poor doomed sheep, are too busy just trying to survive to see that the wool is being pulled over their eyes while being led to slaughter! Because these corporate imperatives are being paid for at the expense of the future of mankind! Before you patronize any product, be conscious about what its doing to your health, to the earth, and how it will affect future generations. Skeptics have warned the author that this book will receive nominal success, that it represents a small niche market, and not everyone would be interested in such literature. And in retort to this assertion, it should be acknowledged that yes, it is sadly true that not everyone would be interested in this book because the information herein may not pertain directly to their life or general well being. So in understanding, who would be interested in this book, lets narrow it down by eliminating the types of individual who would not directly benefit: x 1. People who are immortal: Yes, these people might not care about this book: heck, if you were immortal, you might eat Twinkies and cheese-burgers all day long. 2. People who have another planet to live on: This is true: why would they care if the world goes to hell in a hand basket? See Ya! Well, lucky them: however, for the other seven billion people who inhabit the planet earth who are not immortal, and who dont have another planet to live on then this book is absolutely the most important book they may ever read! Using powerful, easy-to-grasp graphics, this book cuts through the noise and gets straight to the facts on climate change, overpopulation, pollution, over-consumption, and much more. In How We're F***ing Up Our Planet Tony Juniper distills wide-ranging, heart-stopping research into one reliable and eye-opening book. He charts the dramatic explosion of human population and consumption and its impact on planet Earth, revealing how increasing pressures on our world affect factors such as climate, sea levels, and pollution, and what that means for our future. Global warming has led to sea levels rising by around 18cm (7in) over the past 100 years, and the Arctic ice sheet is shrinking at a rate never seen before. 10 million people each year are affected by coastal flooding. One third of all land is at risk of turning to desert, with huge implications for food supplies. Deaths due to air pollution rise every year, and more plastic pollution of the oceans threatens marine life and fishing stocks. As well as explaining global trends and showing how they are connected, How We are F***ing Up Our Planet explores how we can live more sustainably into the future, with positive ideas of how we can mitigate damaging trends.

Redefining Prosperity written by Isabelle Cassiers and has been published by Routledge this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-08-27 with Business & Economics categories.

Society today faces a difficult contradiction: we know exactly how the physical limits of our planet are being reached and exactly why we cannot go on as we have before – and yet, collectively, we seem unable to reach crucial decisions for our future in a timely way. This book argues that our definition of prosperity, which we have long assimilated with the idea of material wealth, may be preventing us from imagining a future that meets essential human aspirations without straining our planet to the breaking point. In other words, redefining prosperity is a necessary and urgent task. This book is the fruit of a long debate among 15 scholars from diverse fields who worked together to bring the depth and nuance of their respective fields to questions that affect us all. The result is a rich, transdisciplinary work that illuminates the philosophical and historical origins of our current definition of prosperity; identifies the complex processes that gave rise to the problems we face today; elucidates the ways in which our contemporary environmental, social, nutritional, economic, political, and cultural crises are interconnected; and explores why a half-century of economic growth has neither increased life satisfaction in the West nor vanquished world poverty. Approaching these broad-ranging questions from the specific standpoints of their disciplines, each of the authors offers thoughts for the future, considering possible escape routes and proposing changes to the way we live, behave, and organise society and public action – changes that actually respond, in an equitable way, to our deepest aspirations. Ultimately, in laying the groundwork for a public debate on this subject, this book poses a question to its readers: what is your definition of prosperity, and what can be done to promote it?
