Many are fueled by fear and uncertainty; others are driven by hope and expectation. For others still, the causes are more obscure. All told, contaminated food causes 48 million illnesses, 128,000 hospitalizations, and 3,000 deaths each year in the United States. With Outbreak, Timothy D.
