Even though ozone has been applied for a long time for disinfection and oxidation in water treatment, there is lack of critical information related to transformation of organic compounds. In addition, to explain the steady-state ozone concentration attained by long duration irradiation, the reaction Oxygen sub 3 + Ozone second 2 oxygen sub 2 at room temperature and probably a temperature dependence of about exp ( -1000/T).
