It is the King James Version and Almeida Recebida translations, good and accurate translations for learning either language, as well as having a correct and reliable translation from the received texts of the Holy Bible itself. The translators relied on "formal equivalence" to preserve phrasing and literal content from the Hebrew and Greek documents. This present volume is divided in columns for each language, with each corresponding verse line matching its equal on the opposite side of the page. The font size and style is easy to read. Typo's and the rare instance of missing information (such as superscriptions above psalms and colophons ending epistles) have been translated from English to Portuguese, and in some cases Hebrew into Portuguese, by Alan Lewis Silva, who has lovingly and carefully edited this wonderful book.

E exatamente no dia de Pentecostes (em que na Antiga Aliança se comemorava a estipulação do Pacto que Deus tinha contraído com o seu povo através do mediador homem, Moisés), o Espírito Santo de Jesus, o Único Sumo Sacerdote e Mediador da Nova Aliança, tendo selado com o seu sangue o Pacto de reconciliação e paz com o Pai em proveito de todos os que Nele creem, desce do Alto sobre os seus seguidores, homens e mulheres, reunidos em número de 120, e os batiza através da segunda dispensação do Espírito: aquele do seu poder (Atos 2,1-4; Atos 2,12-18). Daqui em diante podemos verificar como os discípulos andam por todo lado para evangelizar com autoridade e os seus ensinamentos são seguidos por libertação, curas, milagres, isto é, por múltiplos dons (I Coríntios 12) e pelos 5 sinais (Marcos 16, 17-18) do poder do Espírito Santo de Jesus (Marcos 16,17-18). O Mandato que, no Antigo Pacto (contraído nos mesmos dias do ano que correspondem ao dia de Pentecostes) o Pai tinha conferido, por meio de Moisés, a casta dos sacerdotes do Israel étnico, agora é retirado (Mateus 21,43) e conferido, por força da Nova Aliança estabelecida pelo Sacrifício do Cordeiro de Deus, a outro povo, que não se caracteriza mais por pertencer a uma particular etnia, nem, muito menos, por pertencer a uma casta sacerdotal eleita. Tais pessoas são, notadamente, o povo santo dos nascidos de novo em Cristo, batizados por imersão total nas águas e batizados no Espírito, o povo dos redimidos por graçamediante a fé, ou seja, de todos aqueles que, pertencendo a qualquer raça ou nação (inclusive Israel), creem em Jesus (Palavra da Vida) e o recebem em seu coração.
